Can you check the conductors side wiper on the U30B and see if it works? Still no update here.

Thanks for the report. Do others also have the fourth wiper still not working on the FRCE U30? All four wipers work okay in our patched dev build, so at this point I'm not sure what might have gone wrong.

I have not got the update yet. I just checked the date in my FRCE and no new dates so the wiper isn't working.

If the patch for whatever reason isn't downloading for you, a possible workaround could be to force Steam to re-download the FRCE DLC:

1) Go to your Steam Library, Train Simulator page. Find the DLC section on the right edge of the page (you probably have to scroll down a little, past the weird trading cards), and then click the "Manage my # DLC" button.
2) Search for Feather River Enhanced in the DLC manager. Untick it. Steam will now briefly download something for Train Sim.
3) Check if there are any leftover files (perhaps from unpacking the .ap if you did so) in the folders Assets\HIS\FeatherRiverExt and Content\Routes\e0732f85-e0c6-434f-aca7-dba57e488a90 -- delete any files that might still be there but remember to first back up any customizations you might have added, such as your own scenarios.
4) Go back to the Steam DLC manager and re-tick the FRCE DLC.
5) Wait for it to re-download the DLC.

We've just tested this ourselves and the wipers were wiping on all four windows after doing that.

I had the notice that an update was available this morning. I clicked on the download now button. It started and cancelled the download. This happened 4 times. Eventually it connected and started to download. Waiting for it to complete the download and install. It is most defiantly a Steam issue.
I don't remember having this issue before. However I it takes a few minutes to recognize the guy in the mirror sometimes.
UPDATE:
After downloading and installing the update I am still without an operating wiper for the U30B. I took GreatNortherner's advice. Un-ticked the DLC, deleted the route folder, deleted the asset folder, rebooted the computer, reinstalled the route, and still without a working wiper.

Is your FeatherRiverExt Assets.ap dated today? Mine as I said before was D/L yesterday so mine says 5/17/20244 5:11 AM. It's 8,102,701 KB by the way.

After yesterdays update the AP was only 8,102,2283KB same as before.


Repeating the process again. Switched servers to Los Angeles from Anchorage after connection failure 4 times it is now downloading the entire route. Clean install.
Still no update installed. Installed the route from scratch, manually deleted all files.
What could keep the ap from updating?
BTW I also did a file verify, still no joy.

Wipers all working as are the gauges. Here I didn't even do anything to trigger the update

I think Steam may be having some issues. When I go into my Steam Library it asks me to install TSC. When I play TSC and after I have finished and go back the install button has turned into the Play button. I thought that this may trigger the update but it says I don't have enough space on the drive where TSC is. It has about 180 GB left but TSC is about 450 GB.

I got the update yesterday and all wipers in front or rear are working fine.

What is wrong, but I can´t tell if it was or not wrong before the update, is that in the U30B the gauge lights stay permanently on. They won´t switch on and off and back. This happens with the knob in the control stand or by using the "I" key.
You may also want to know that this gauge lights control work fine in the U30B from old FRC.
I don´t think this issue is complex to fix.

I did this and Steam won't download and install the route again for some unknown reason. Not to worry though as the files are in my recycle bin from where I can put them back into TSC. Something strange happening with Steam or my installation. I have fixed the vertex buffer error if anyone asks.

I found this broken track in Portola. No idea if it was there before the updates of these days, but it is so easy to spot that it´s difficult I would have missed it. No idea if there are more.
