It is quite a well made route. They just need to move the car spawn point that's spawning cars in the middle of a crossing. Also brought myself a GP40 from VRC to go with this and what a nice little loco that is.

I would like to know how to apply Krellnut's Wagons Sounds to this now.

One of my friends on Steam complained a bluesteak about the P42 included with the Miami route. Being a huge fan of the Genesis series (and a huge nitpicker), he pointed several inaccuracies on the P42 that would be accurate on a P32DC-AM. Looks like DTG reused their MN P32 model.

So what? If you don't like it don't buy it. I don't know why you bitchers are always looking to just work at ruining things for the rest of us by nit picking everything to death. !*not-ok*!

Looks like I'll be using the Empire Builder P42DC instead.

At the risk of getting slammed by either Marc or Tom, if someone will attach the audio folder on here I'll do the changes and post and upload.

As consumers, we have the right to complain if things were purchased and did not meet expectations..... The only people that dont have a right to complain are the ones that were aware of the flaws prior to purchase...

Well its a fact that the sounds that come with the DLC routes, for the most part are terrible. Many thanks for the option to change them for the better. !!*ok*!!

Let the buyer beware. Anyone can complain. It just gets tiresome when people complain about nits. For thse of you that are not aware of what a nit is, that is a little tiny bug that lives on a knat's behind.

If you are able to look beyond the flaws and still enjoy the route, they haven't ruined anything for you. You are a satisfied customer at the end of the day.

Otherwise their complaints and nits are ... #1: A public service to give potential buyers a heads-up so that they can make an informed purchase decision... and #2: A way of publicly letting DTG and the authors be aware of where they messed up. Since this is the most visited Railworks site dedicated to North American content, they do monitor it. They would be dumb not to considering what feedback is posted here could affect their potential sales substantially.

I've come to expect these flaws out of DTG cuz they seem to care more about getting content released than getting it released right.

So far ...none of the flaws mentioned has persuaded me not to purchase this route eventually. It's just persuaded me to wait until it's cheaper. Just like giving a waiter a good tip to reward good service, I'll pay full price for Railworks DLC to reward DTG and the authors for getting the content right.....ESPECIALLY getting locomotives right. It's been awhile since I paid full price for DLC.....so what does that say?..... hint hint. **!!2cents!!**

Anyways.... from the pics, this route looks great. !!*ok*!!

So if y'all are nitpicking, how about this one? Last I checked anyway (yesterday) the Viewliner trucks don't pivot around curves. I think that's a little more serious of an issue to have been overlooked by the development team than some inconsistencies with the locomotive model that was used.

The facinating part of this conversation is do the beta testers not see any of this stuff or do the authors not care that the beta testers find all of these flaws? I certainly understand when the outside bitchers find stuff at the last minute why sometimes things get released however unless DTG is operating on lawyer time (that is defined by sitting on something and doing nothing for weeks or months and then rushing about for a few hours to get something done) it seems as if some of this stuff (such as the FEF patch) take forever due to beta testing.
