So is there any word on the route lately? Guess the rumors of it being released today were false...

Clearly RSC has other things to be doing... like marking everything down and spamming the facebook channels with promotions. !*roll-laugh*!

That's been the method to the madness this year so far. I don't think anything has been released on a day other than Thursday. I wonder if RSC decided to scrap the 'original date' to make a new P42DC. I sure hope so!

Well I know it's unlikely that it's coming this month, but I think if they were to postpone it, it would most likely be for the March Madness sale. If they make a new P42 they'll probably make it as a separate add-on for $19.99. One fear about this route I have is that RSC will include the fictional grey BNSF Hoppers they made instead of the Reddish Brown ones that are usually seen over Marias Pass.

Hopefully after all of this March Madness gets out of the way in the next few days they'll spill the beans, so to speak. I don't know if it's true or not, but I believe RSC might also be working on something for France, perhaps the TGV/LGV. Just a hunch though.

I think we've had enough high speed! Unless your talking about high speed in the US of course *!greengrin!* But that's another topic. Hopefully we'll see Marias Pass soon! Maybe as a gift for Easter?

The rolling stock for the route is phenominal. I feel the community will be pleased with the changes that further US knowledge brought to the table.

As for US high speed. Nice joke. 79MPH is hardly high speed.

Really, no we haven't. What we've had is a few short bursts of speed. Sure, we've had trainsets built that CAN do highspeed, but one only goes up to 140mph and the other is only allowed up to 186mph for a brief few minutes. When the day comes that RSC puts the effort into a high speed route to make it long enough and worth driving, then we'll have had enough and you can make a statement like that. !!jabber!!

Please take a deep breath. Very few of us want to scream thru the countryside at 140 mph.

Well it has to be tomorrow because I've got a feeling they aren't going to go to the office during the Weekend to upload a route to steam, and I thought today because tomorrow is a holiday but it must be different in the UK?

And some of us want to do it for more than 2 minutes. I'm no high speed guy, but it sucks that there's only short sections of high speed. Just because you don't like it or multiplayer, doesn't mean no one else does.

I don't think so. But then again I don't know which hoppers you're referring to in the first place so I could easily be wrong. :D

Good Friday here now, so nothing's coming out immediately. I have a sneaking suspicion that RSC screenshots of Marias Pass will be far more prominent from next week on. Or I could easily be wrong.

186mph x decent length run = horrific amount of work. And would probably break the sim too. Or I could easily be wrong.

!*not-ok*! !!*ok*!! !**duh*!! !*salute*!

imphantum, sorry about my post above. I did not intend to be rude or hostile towards you or anyone else here. I simply wanted to express my opinion, but I did not go about it in the best way possible. While there might not be people here who want to go fast, there certainly are in the TS2013 fan pool. I could say the same back to you buzz, not everyone wants to go slow through the mountains for hours. High speed trains present their own challenges, just like heavy freights do. We all have our favorite types of rail transport and we all have our differences. I'm just the type of person who likes to speed along and face the challenge of controlling that speed over hills and through limit changes while picking up passengers on the way- I find this to be much fun! Again, I apologize for the above. I hope there are no hard feelings.

!!**sorry**!!
