A friend in Steam has found an issue. The ID numbers textures in at least two of the three coal hoppers are missing.
We have tried and verified the DLC at least 4 or 5 times without any help to replace those missing textures. He has even deleted the entire VNHRR folder before verifying.
I do not have any problem with those textures. The difference between us is that I get the branded assets and he gets the unbranded. I don´t know if others out of USA are having this issue with the unbranded DLC.
It would seem these are the only cars with a missing texture.

Are you aware of similar cases and have a solution to solve this?
Another question. Should those textures be located in the HiLineAssets.AP? Or are the textures supposed to be outside the VNHRR folder? Or maybe even in the route in the Contents folder.

Jalsina,

Thanks for the report! At the moment, I don't know why this happens and why it only affects the non-US version. We never touched the numbers textures when setting up the "de-logoed" cars. But yes, everything on the route is the same Assets directory (VNHRR\HiLine). If something links outside of there (except for RailSimulatorCore) then that would be a bug.

...

Meanwhile, in the same place but back in time a few decades:

Subdivision signs... most likely not prototypical, but I like them.

The numbers are supposed to be Texture folders. The default one uses the textures there and the other two are supposed to be using the number textures in the silver one. The Geos look to be correct. He needs to look and see if the number textures are there in the CoalHopper\Silver\Wagon\Textures

Hi everybody,
I write to you from Germany and this is my first post to this great forum but I read for years and I play Railworks and TS since 2013. From the beginning I was fascinated by the US routes and fortunately I have all of them including the BNSF routes and all respective locomotives no longer available in Europe. So it was only a matter of time that I found this forum and stayed as a reader. First of all therefore a big thank you for the advice, patches, hints and unpayable downloads I found here over the years.
I am sixty years old and a railway enthusiast since my youth. My grandfather and my father both were railway engineers and my grandfather took me on steam locomotives since I was a small boy. So what should I do...it is in my genes. *!lol!*

My question with regard to the Montana Hi-Line: Would it be possible that somebody of you makes a signage patch similar to that of Raton pass? I think that would be an unvaluable aid for the whole TS community outside the US. If it can be done many thanks in advance! *!!thnx!!*

Greetings

No GN era route would be complete without train order signals. !*salute*!
Though in this case, they will simply be scenario placed static items. The green/green one, as in the screenshots, will be the default in the template scenario but the scenario author can replace them with others. I'll also provide yellow and red aspects.

... that you are going into Marias Pass?

Yes! I may only be starting with the "default" Hi-Line route, but I want to expand the kit for both the merged routes later on. In any case, I have already created the signs and depot models for the entire Hi-Line (or rather Kalispell Division, 1st, 2nd, and 5th subs).

This is just a quickie but if you have The Race Track go into the system files and find the BNSFlogos.TgPcDx copy and rename it GP_BNSFlogos.TgPcDx and put it into the System folder in the HiLine and your GP38-2 will have the proper signage.

Hi Buzz,

Thank you so much for your fast reply! It works fine! Meanwhile I found a solution for the SW1500 too: For the Ex-BN one can use the respective logo.tgpcdx from the SW1500 pack 01. For the BNSF version it is possible to copy the engine.tgpcdx from the railvehicles folder into the system folder.
I compared the ES44 texture folder with the one from Marias Pass. It is identical. But I could not find a logo.tgdcdx to switch. I have to look for it more in depth.
And Ihave no solution at all for the different freight wagons... !*don-know!*

Greetings

Peter

Edit: For ES44 I took the "logo_BNSF.tgdcpx" file from the railvehicles folder, renamed it to "ES_logo_BNSF.tgdcpx" and put it into the System Folder. Works fine! !!*ok*!! But the wagons remain a problem to be solved…. !*don-know!*

Greetings

I tried this from my GP38-2BnsfPack01 and it didn't work. I don't have the Race Track.

You don't need the Race Track. The system files are all in the library for that route.

The attached winrar file contents the Krellnut sounds for all the Montana HiLine freight cars.
To install it, just extract the contents and drop it into your Railworks folder.
You need to have the Krellnut sounds installed in your TS2020. If you don´t have them installed, you can find them in the RWA library:
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/sounds-enhancements?view=document&id=2470:krellnut-s-u-s-freight-car-sounds-2015&catid=25:sounds
You need also to enable the assets at route level (do this in the route editor using the little cube and checking WJ Sound in the right flyer).
