The ATC script is the script used to provide the cab signaling on the New York-New Haven route, also used on the NJCL.

They say this isn't far off now. Meaning neither is the NJCL, I would assume. The daily release of photo related to this content, in a sense helps ease, and on the contrary, builds anticipation for this. Just so happy that even though the NEC NY-PHILLY section hadn't been updated, fixed in anyway, it will at least be given more life, and attention with this new content. But, I digress.. here is their latest photo..

Has there been any update on this route? Was hoping it would be released with Ts2016, but all news that I've seen with this one has gone silent.

Not for a while. But it is more than likely still in development. Just that their focus was on the release of 2016.

Comment from DTG on a post on FB (on the railsimulator page) indicates release date has been pushed back to sometime in early October.

Really happy to see an ALP-46. I'm unhappy they did NOT make multilevel cars; they would have gone great in the ALP-46 pack! Having been in the cab of a real ALP-46 in Amtrak Train Days I have to say they did a great job with the cab. The nose dimensions do look a little strange...

Once the Fan Railer physics pack is produced, I may add all the ALP-46A numbers the the dcsv file (4629-4664).

lol you'd really make me produce an ALP-46A traction motor sound mod in addition to the ALP-46 motor sound mod I already have queued up? You're cruel !*roll-laugh*!

No lol. Having an ALP-46(O) traction sound mod is fine enough, but having an ALP-46A traction physics mod will also help along with ALP-46A dynamic numbers from me. I have an NJT ALP-45DP and ALP-46(A) K5LA all ready. I am also thinking you will have an option between a steel bell and e-bell as the ALP-46 used both bells.

This video from Fan Railer is great reference material for the ALP-46 traction motor sound; this ALP-46 (4622) uses a Graham-White E-Bell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4cW-kQtzvY

The ALP-46 and ALP-46A are highly similar locomotives, but with some slight differences. Although this DLC pack will be based around the ALP-46 originals, having a separate traction set for the ALP-46A is definitely welcome.

I am just hoping DTG doesn't put out a similar ALP-46A with Multilevels, as the multilevel cars can come in a PL42AC DLC.

New screen.. Newark is looking nice. Though the track diagram looks different from the NEC NY-PHILLY iteration. But nonetheless still looks much better.
