It's a 3 pack of DLC for us. For new people its TS2015 but with these three route instead of the others.

Well, as I read the promo, folks who do not yet own TS2015 will be able to buy a bundle that includes the sim itself plus Soldier Summit and two other routes: Mannheim - Karlsruhe and London - Faversham; those who already own the sim can buy Soldier Summit, of course, but the other two routes will not come with it. Could someone who already owns the sim but not one or both of the other bundled routes buy the bundle? That's not clear, but I doubt it.

Essentially, this bundle (again, TS2015 + Soldier Summit + Mannheim-Karlsruhe + London-Faversham) is an alternative to the I-don't-know-how-many other possible introductory bundles, which DTG/RSC has taken to calling "Editions".

As from what I can understand from other forums as the Engine Driver page won't load for me, is for the price of a normal route DTG are releasing TS2015, Soldier Summit plus the other 2 routes. For those without TS2015 when they purchase they get the whole lot, for those of us who already have TS and the other 2 routes part way through the purchase process a message will come up saying you already own TS2015 and the other 2 routes and after you have purchased just Soldier Summit will download and install.

I don't have the Mannheim yet so in theory I should get two routes for the price of one. We'll see how this plays out since with DTG you never can tell.

$40 or not, it's just not going to be period correct without the Utah Railway motive power. I'd have rathered a good repaint over a reissue of the GP9 I already have and use..... jmo

Anybody working on a repaint??

I love the idea of a Rio Grande route. Love those liveries and the whole ethos of a hard-working, scruffy line. I watched the Twitch advanced preview yesterday where they ran one of Eliphaba's workshop scenarios for the upcoming route. The cliffs were amazing, but the rest of the scenery wasn't very good. The sage and chamiso vegetation trackside was very nice, and they have modeled quite passable Cottonwood trees, but the ground detail is quite simplistic. Just a lot of paint slapped around. Makes the vistas pretty bland when there isn't a cliff to look at.

Certainly didn't live up to all of these screenshots. Could it have been the settings on the machine used to stream?

Went from being an insta-buy to going on the wait for a sale list for me, or at least a wait for YouTube vids to review.

I just wanted to jump in here to say that I bought a bundle that included TS2015, The Pacific surfliner Route, New York-New Haven Route and quite a few other addons&routes for $13.49 the other day. I already owned TS2015 and when I purchased the bundle, a note showed up and said something along the lines of "You already own TS2015. Please note you will not receive an additional download with this purchase."

The Main reason I bought this bundle was to get the two routes mentioned above for dirt cheap and it worked out just fine for me. Sorry If I'm getting a little off-topic, I just wanted to confirm that you can purchase the bundle but you will not get credit/additional downloads for content you already own AFAIK.

I honestly think the Soldier Summit route should be sold individually by itself like every other route DLC. Anyhow, here's a new screenshot showcasing the great looking foliage and rocks: Image
