It includes the route which I think is 245 miles (or is it 145?), the Amtrak F59PHI, Surfliner liveried double-story rolling stock, a cab car, some BNSF rolling stock, and a BNSF SD40-2. I don't know how many scenarios are included, but it is quick drive optimized. The route on QD has some AI, I've only skimmed the surface so far so I've only seen stationary Surfliner consists at LA Union Station (I guess you could say they're stationary!), freight consists sitting in yards with motionless SD40s, and one Surfliner that was actually moving. It's an impressive route, RSC did a wonderful job. I give it 9.5 out of 10 stars. !!*ok*!!

I think this is the wrong place to post to try to get this fixed.

Rolling along the Pacific,

but where are the pretty girls in bikini's?

There is some moving surf and the indication of waves that looks good enough from the cab or from the passenger seats. Well done, designers and builders!

Train chasing along the coastal highway,

Does the San Onofre nuclear power generating station use the rail for fuel and waste transport, for there are spurs leading into the territory?

So I am stopping at the stations and the passengers are getting off and on yet it tells me at the end that I didn't get anyone?? The little timer dingest runs at each stop. What am I doing wrong here?

The exterior screens are amazing - it appears hard to take a bad one on this route. :D
Cheers!

And you did all those tracks, Hertsbob, Hertfordshire Bob that is?

Who did the signals? Shouldn't the 'overhead' signals be more to the right of the track they govern?

I placed the signals. If you read the manual you would know that. However I did not line up the heads on the signal bridge as that was a scenery function. Someone else did all the bridges and lined up the heads. And no I think the signals are just fine.

I have to wonder about you guys requesting and insisting on different horns. How often do you blow the things? It does not even have a function in the game other than to make some noise.

The signals function all right, that's not the problem, Bob.

The overhead signals are badly visible from any locomotive that doesn't have a full width windscreen.
Traditionally, that is when steam and first generation Diesels ruled the rails, the rule for signal placement was to the right and above the track.

Try running the GS4 or a GP9 and see for yourself.

I know most signals are aligned to the track center when you place them, therefor for the USS-R2 signals I am working on for the COARW, I moved the 'asset base' by 6ft to the right of the track center to make correct placement easier as I only need to lift them to their proper height.
Unfortunately, one cannot bulk change the signal positions along one axis in the horizontal plane, each bridge or cantilever needs to be done by hand. Even then, it is a very fiddly operation due to the nature of the gizmo.

Apparently, since this situation is seen on other commercial routes from UK and GER as well. Guess I'll have to apply myself for a couple of nights then.

It is one of those small things that makes the distinction between good and perfect, attention to details like signal placement rules, proper labelling of gauges, etc.
Due to the labour intensive nature of DLC creation, where time is money, everything has to be done quickly and preferably efficiently. Changing the asset base offset of gantry signals is the easiest way to have them line up correctly.

Edit: unfortunately, the mounting poles are an integral part of the cantilever. That means the whole cantilever should be moved sideways, where it probably will fall out of alignment.

Now, what Safetran hardware is included in the RCAP v2 pack? Separate cantilevers, poles, ladders and platforms?

Oh well, have to rethink this over.
