Me too, Blue Light, although it is a bargain in a way: Donner Pass, with "more than 140 miles" of track also cost $39.99; with 152 miles of track, Marias Pass costs less.

On the other hand, I find Donner's long-haul scenarios boring, so I'm certainly not attracted by an additional 12 miles. The hype for Western Lines of Scotland doesn't mention how many miles of track it features, but my guess is that the number doesn't exceed 140; nevertheless, in this case less is indeed more as far as I'm concerned.

Western Lines of Scotland is roughly 105 miles plus the branch line.

My mistake - for a moment I thought my textures were used (again).

Looks like someone forgot to put in the texture files for the lamps at the stations. Another RSC route that they are going to have to patch. But apart from that small niggle it is a nice route and well worth the money. Now just wish they would do a modern NS route for all these NS locos that they have released :D

Im also missing couplers in all scenarios, ive cleared cache and even selected the kuju assets from the asset list in scenario editor, still no luck, just out of curiosity, could this cause SBHH's ? on every scenario ive had an SBHH, sometimes within 5 mins sometimes as much as half an hour, cant figure out why, even lowered my settings to medium, still doesnt help but it seams to be random, PC is more than capable of running TS2013 on highest settings so i dont thinks its a hardware problem, anyone else getting this experience ?

I saw the same on another route a while back (Cajon?). Have a look under the car and see if they're somewhere in the middle or under the trucks.
Cheers!

I can confirm that I'm getting the SBHH's randomly, but not always in the same situation. For example, I ran the first SD40-2 tutorial scenario and I got the SBHH as the first stack train was passing by. I restarted the game (and cleared the cache to see if my couplers would come back) and ran the scenario again and made it all the way through.

Clearing the cache did not help my coupler situation:

I am excited for the route though, I hope they can work out the kinks with an update quickly.

I have cleared the cache twice to no avail. I do understnd RSC is aware of the problem and is looking into it.

Nothing there unfortunately, was worth a shot tho :D, i checked the bins and they look fine, the files referenced are in the right locations so i dont understand whats going on but im glad to know im not the only one with the problem, thought the PC was on the blink again lol, after checking through RSC facebook page it seams they are blaming graphics cards, cant understand why it would be specific to only couplers tho, its a pretty bad excuse lol

According to them, they believe it has something to do with video cards on a select basis, i.e. not everyone is having the issue. It seems like they are still trying to fix it, not just give an "excuse" and move on. I'm almost done downloading my copy. I'll load it up and see what I get. !!*ok*!!

I just tried the second scenario for the SD40-2, specifically the BSNF version. Interestingly, these engines as well as the brown/maroon hoppers all seem to have couplers, unlike the other screenshot I posted above.

The doublestack cars as well as the ES44 engines don't have couplers:

So it seems to be only certain rolling stock.

I first hopped in to quickdrive, SD40 pack is working great, no issues there. When I loaded up an ES44 consist, I found no couplers as others are stating. I also noticed that one set of lamp posts are missing textures. Granted, these are small things that should have easy fixes. Other than some teething problems, I am very satisfied!

But it is an excuse tho, the couplers are modeled the same way as the rest of the loco, they are also textured exactly the same way, if it were indeed a grahics card problem it would extend far beyond just couplers, but it doesnt, its specific to couplers over multiple systems, i admit, i could be wrong about that, but why would they use diffrent methods to model and texture diffrent parts ? they dropped a ball somewhere and now they are blaming users hardware ? i could understand if i were using a card from 1998, but im not, its barely a year old, the fact they are blaming "me" is nonsense given the fact ive had no problems with any route or any couplers before marias pass, to me that is a blatently bad excuse, yes, it can be fixed, but why not just be honest and say we slipped up while beta testing and missed out a very obvious aspect to railroading rather than blaming hardware

Calm down bud, there is an issue, and they are looking into it. There have been other add-ons, even from 3rd party, with this same issue of couplers. When they stated something about video cards, it might have been a assumption based on looking at the issue first glance. It will be fixed soon, regardless of the reason.

im not getting mad at you or RWA or any of its members, thats not what im getting at, im more annoyed at the fact i stupidly spent 30 quid on something i knew wouldnt work, yet i bought it anyway thinking RSC pushed back the release date a couple weeks just so they could sort this stuff out, its barmy, i could have wasted my money on other such things as a kebab and a crate of decent beer lol, RSC have been in the game for a few years now, id have thought they would have known what they are doing by now

^^ Understood, but getting mad at RSC is not going to help anything at this point. They will fix the issue there bud! Your money won't be wasted.

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know I seemed to have fixed it, atleast until RSC does.

For me I went into the coupling folder of the new SD40. I copied all files within the folder coupling files ONLY, then transfered and overwrote the files in the Marias Pass coupling folder ONLY. (I assume this will work with other add-ons' coupler files) Only do this is you have a good understanding of how the game file structure works, I won't be held responsible if you copy the wrong files or overwrite the wrong things. Always backup!

Definitly seems like there is some missing data/code in the Marias Pass coupling folder. Quick fix that took me all of 5 mins, hopefully RSC has an offical patch soon!
