Here we have the map for the route from RSC.
Get up to Speed with our London St Pancras to Faversham High Speed route map, detailing all of the Stations you'll be getting familiar with in the not so distant future.

Here we have one of the 4 main cars which have traction.

Also, looks like I forgot to pass these along here. Here are a few of the Class 375, in Southeastern white and blue livery. No third rail yet, but we know from LB that comes last.

Take some deep breaths and r-e-l-a-x. All good things come to he who waits. *!!wink!!*

It's great to see that you're looking forward to the route. I can't remember when the proposed release date is, and if I could remember I wouldn't be able to tell you anyway.

!!**sorry**!!

Looking nice though, isn't it. :D

I may sit beside you all the journey through,
Or I may sit elsewhere, never knowing you.
But if fate should mark me to sit by your side,
Let's be pleasant travellers; it's so short a ride."

Another progress image. This time we have the track type finalized (the white ballast is now gone). The Class 395 looks like it's still being developed. Headlights and glass windows haven't been added by the looks.

More photos this morning from RSC. I honestly think this route looks like the best thing they've ever done. The quality of the lighting and clouds with the sea-side towns just looks amazing.
Here are my favorite from the facebook post, but I don't want to spam you all with every single one... given that they uploaded ~30 today.

Great job, RSC! Can't wait to see how the high-speed sections are coming along. If these have anything to show for it, it'll be just as amazing! !!*ok*!!

Won't be long now. RSC looks to be taking a lot of pride in this route and surely aren't lacking in the detail. I can't wait to see St. Pancras, Stratford, and Ebbsfleet and the cab of the 395, but all in good time. Now, the question is: Who's ready to shuttle the morning commuters into London at speeds up to 140mph? !!det!!

The details are a bit hazy here, but we have Ebbsfleet International! Strange that they took the photo from this angle but you can see the line in the distance that connects the classic line to HS1 via the upper-level platform at Ebbsfleet.

Found a neat little graphic that visually shows how the in-cab signalling works on the high-speed line. This is TVM430, designed by the French for it's high-speed network in the 70s and 80s. It's still in use today. On the bottom of the graph, you see the boxes that would be displayed on the console/dash of the locomotive. The green line represents how the driver speed should look in this situation and the red line indicates the mandated speed maximum for that signalling block. Basically, when the driver is approaching a speed reduction, the current speed limit indicators will start to flash, telling the drive to begin slowing down. The 300 will continue to flash until the speed limit for the next signalling block takes effect with a limit of 270. The driver is then prompted to continue slowing as the 270 indicator continues to flash. Once we enter the 230 speed limit block the indicator changes to 230. We see the 230 indicator continue to flash and we will continue our deceleration to the next speed limit of 170. The 170 continues to flash and we are given a RED 000kph speed restriction. This means that we will need to continue decelerating until we are under 30kph and we must stop at the end/start of the next block. Hope this explains it well enough if some of you were interested in how it all works.

The Class 395 and the route will no doubt be the best RSC has made yet. RSC have even taken the train with the software to the buildier, Hitachi, so that they can give feedback on the overall design of the train and performance. I'm simply amazed that some here don't show the slightest amount of interest in this route. Then again, not everyone is a fan of ultra-modern and high-speed.

Have to admit I'm not a big fan of ultrafast modern passenger trainsets but this does look good!

Same here, but I'm tempted.

in any case, it would be worth it for the scenery alone.
