Or on releases from any other producers...

Looks like it's up now. I don't have the cash right now to get it but it's there.

Actually, the "headline" at the top of its Steam site page reads "Union Pacific Cab Forward"; below the photo section, a "subhead" reads "Buy Railworks 3 Cab Forward"; but in the text paragraphs it's called "the Southern Pacific Cab Forward". Maybe Steam, Valve, or whoever delayed posting it for sale because they weren't sure how many products were involved?

Another curiousity is that while both the Cab Forward and the GE-44 are available for sale at Steam, neither one appears at the Products tab on RSC's website. Are they looking for a new sales manager, perhaps?

As you know, I'm not one to pull RSC's leg, but this situation strikes me as pretty peculiar.

What was strange is you have to drive in the rain and snow without windshield wipers. Good thing the front window slides open. Must of been horrible to drive in bad weather with this train with the windows open.

It was like that IRL too. If RW could have made it so more rain slid down the window versus just sticking to it at least on the cabforward. It would've been nice so you could atleast see.

LOL! I know what you mean, at first I thought I had a problem with my speakers, but it's apparently a compressor steam exhaust ‘wheeze’ sound. All I know is it freaks out my wife, dogs and cat.

Steam engines were closest to being alive of all of mankinds inventions, always making noises.

I noticed the Big boy has the same 'problem' with compressor sound sounding all of the time, which is unrealistic as the compressors are governed by a pressure valve and should switch off once the main reservoir is up to pressure. Something RSC probably haven't implemented (yet).

So I think we are stuck with a thumping Cab Forward until some of our expert hackers provides a remedy.

If you watch the video that was posted earlier on this engine you will hear that that is accurate to the engine. The video is of the last run of the cab forward.
