Thank you Buzz and everyone else who gives us so many wonderful repaints!

Does anyone have insight into why a branding license wasn’t acquired for this route?

I think you need to ask Jonathan that question. Wikipedia: Milwaukee Road Historical Association now owns the Milwaukee Road trademarks/copyrights

I knew that you would be waiting in the wings! Now we have to convince Reppo or Great Northern to work out a few locomotives. At "Elvas Tower", these locomotives exist in MSTS form. Maybe a conversion? A "Little Joe" and a EP-3 Quill would be GREAT!!! A "Bi-Polar" would be out of this world!! The Sacramento Northern Switcher would be a nice platform for an ES-1 Switcher..... just thoughts! I love the MILW "Big Jacks".

I tried helping Jonathan/DTG get in contact with MRHA since the museum I help with deals with them directly. My contact said they received the emails from them and were in the process of sending replies back giving approval but something must've got lost as Jonathan never heard anything back? Maybe it'll get corrected later, as they were relatively prompt at getting us licensing to utilize the trademark for our products.

Great Idea to use the G-Traxx steeple cab it's closer to the color picture than the Monochrome. The ES2 (#E80- E83) even had a trolley pole as well as the pantograph. An excellent substitute until(?) there's a real one. The Boxcabs might be a bit large as switchers *!lol!*

Funny you say that! Boxcab E57 was modified by removing the drawbar and a rear coupler was placed on the end. It was the Harlowton, MT switcher for years. It was preserved in a park out there! Here is a picture of it in operation, along with a photo of E80, an ES-2.

That is a wonderful painting! You can almost hear the heavy chuffing of the big NP steamer there. !*salute*!

With MilePost's awesome new route and all the wonderful repaints that have been done over the years, we should be able to replicate that scene on Pipestone Pass. !*YAAA*!

Cheers,
Michael

I couldn't resist having a go - it's not perfect but then the prototype is not a "dead ringer" but it is as close as we have for now.
