Most if not all of us have a lot of respect for minerman.

Isn't the whole point of posting previews to get feedback/inform people ???

If myself or anyone else I know posted that much of a rant, you 95% would've said "You don't have to buy it" or some other gibberish like that. All of a sudden it's now okay to do that because the person posting it is massively respected?

My young friend respect is earned and accusing someone of posting gibberish is insulting and just backwards to earning any kind of respect.

Did somebody get mad because there's payware PC content now?

You know, if anyone else complained about they'd immediately be told oh "yOu dOnT hAVe tO bUy iT"..

csx80888, you used an Always Sunny meme, so I can assume we aren't too far off in age.

Sure, there are differing dynamics and personalities on this site, but minerman spent years creating what is arguably one the most detailed, accurate, and thoroughly researched routes in the history of this game, and he did it as a labor of love. I love railroads because I love my country and its history, and railroads are a huge part of that. It's especially meaningful when you have the family connection like minerman does, and I respect that a lot.

So chill man, we got some cool PC content coming, let's just be happy for that.

Penn Central is also one of, if not the most controversial mergers in American railroading history. The DLC will be more true to real life if something like half of the locomotives you spawn in don't work. !*roll-laugh*!

In my opinion, the pack looks nice. But it's obvious not many people want to associate with Penn Central.

Hmm... now that would have been an awesome excuse to give to the folks at QA for those bugs they found during testing. *!twisted!*

Those coaches are really coming along. My recommendation based on Railfan722's images would do the following.
1. Weathering on the Vestibule and stairs in light brown (dust)
2. Match the trucks in the images, black washes out in game and the dust/rust weathering really brings out the details of the trucks.
Achieve the 'heavily used' look.
Very nice looking model.

I'd really like to see a better shader used for the pax cars to make the stainless material pop.
Ubershader with a good aux map can really make a metal material look more metal despite the game's limitations.

Ubershader is essentially a necessity for anything and everything to look decent in this day and age

You remind me of people still going on today about our hospital being removed in the early 1990s and now having to travel 12 miles to our nearest one.

Hey he's entitled to his opinion about PC. I'm still unhappy about the demise of the Milwaukee Road even though it was mostly a self inflicted wound.
