Jesus christ and people thought I was bad.

Anyways on topic, this looks interesting enough. Any information on whether or not this has an origin point that would make it mergeable for past routes or the future?

My only critique stockwise is that the MP36 mesh wasn't at least modified to match the MARC stuff even without the livery. (Train ID badge in the center between the ditchlights/markers.

Related to that, is this MP36 at least skinnable? I recall the Caltrain one was an absolute disaster mapping wise.

Route origin is at Baltimore Penn.

Would be fun to have some of these to drive around if anyone is interested in making them.

Or these, though these would be a bit trickier.

Hmm... new route to run GG1's, Pennsy content, and Searchlight's Conrail SD40-2's. Sounds good to me. And maybe... just maybe... the Western Maryland folks can whip up PC / Conrail content pack for the route??

I used to love running commuter services on the NECv3 back in the MSTS days so this will be a welcome revisit to that. I have mixed feelings on the length. On the one hand I don’t have the attention span for super long routes so I appreciate routes that focus on quality/detail vs length. A route this short will go by very quickly at 125MPH though.

Looks like a buy on balance for me.

Scheduled travel times between Baltimore and DC are as follows:

Acela: ~ 34 minutes with one stop at BWI.

Amtrak regionals: ~43 minutes with stops at New Carrollton and BWI.

MARC: ~45 minutes-to-one hour pending number of intermediate station stops (there are seven intermediate MARC stops between WAS and Baltimore Penn).

There is a MARC GP40 reskin available on the File Library that looks to be a stand in for both engines
