Bootstedridge -- Thank you for your message and did look here at the file library and saw one download file which is VIA Canadian Pack. I just downloaded this file in zip and will see myself to what colour are the VIA Canadian Pack equipment like Blue with Yellow stripes or Silver with Blue stripes or old Black with white stripes with CN logo.

I agree, Milepost Simulations does good with routes.

I also agree, they have made some very enjoyable routes available in recent years. Looking forward to this one.

Just picked up the route- first impressions are it looks really good. All Canadian style crossing signals, some really cool details, and a lot of trackage.

Edit: I’d like to know what the differences are between this era of the route and modern times. If anything is single tracked vs double tracked and so on.

Krellnut wagon sounds for the route.

Thanks for the Krellnut sounds buzz. I bought the route tonight, ran the late intermodal scenario for about 40 minutes. My first impressions are quite good. Initial thoughts:

The route looks great with lots of CN specific touches like flanger signs and reduce speed ahead signs. The locomotives are what they are, the SD40-2W is what you would expect if you've played Peace River. I think the GP40-2W's are new? First thing I did was replace the horns with Searchlight Simulations' K3's. If anyone could figure out how to equip these units with the Searchlight Simulations SD40 sounds they would be a saint as that would add a lot to this route. The signals don't seem to be very visible from a distance which is something I haven't seen in a train sim routes before. Minor issue. I had the thought that the red on the engines looked too dark but I think it's because I'm used to seeing CN zebra stripe units that are extremely faded with the red more pinkish and the paint down to primer in many places.

All in all I am happy with my purchase and this seems like a solid addition to TS2020.

There's a property in the .bin for those assets that defines if you can select them or not. I believe you can do a CTRL+F for "Pickable" and change the value in that line from eFalse to eTrue.

I really like YHP so far. Hate to self promote but if you're on the fence and don't want to rely on Colonel Failures play on it yesterday - have a look

*!greengrin!* just trying to keep it civil.

I dont think he went over the details much on the official stream yesterday, im no TS pro, just tried being a touch in depth.

I am impressed tho, a step up over CMPasses imo

Colonel Failure is a fellow who plays games by the seat of his pants with intentionally very little instruction beforehand. He's pretty well known for his several series of Transport Fever and now Transport Fever 2. He also works part time for DTG, so you will see him occasionally on TS streams and he's been showing up lately on DTG's Q&A streams for TSW2. He's actually pretty entertaining to watch in my opinion. I'd recommend checking him out.
