I'm always surprised that reviews of new routes usually focus more on included assets.

I disagree, what good is a route if you don't have any quality, or prototypical rolling stock to run on it?

Yeah, I'm honestly not impressed with the quality of the rolling stock. I see the same thing happening with this route as with the first South African route. I see this lacking replayability, No supplemental DLC to give variety, should this route have actually run more than what is being supplied with this one. I'm totally skipping this one, I'm afraid.

Released on steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/376935/?snr=1_7_7_151_150_1

I'm going to download when I get home from work... if anybody here already has it, does the Class 24 come with a good, looping steam whistle?

Bought the addon yesterday. The overall build quality is decent, but I didn't get much of a chance to explore the route because I got sucked into a black hole of trying to change the Class 24's whistle. Once I finally got it to how I wanted it to sound (4 hours later), I put the engine on the West Highland Extension line to run tourist services.

The Class 24 is a very handsome locomotive and looks great running next to the mountains and lochs of Scotland:
