The paint isn't accurate for Superliners (at least i think not) but the paint IS accurate for the old Highlevel equipment they used to/still run.

Seem reasonable. So we can't exactly blame DTG for wrong paint schemes. The stuff they create is REAL,it's just no one ever pays any attention to it.Like how the Dash-840CW they did had the ditches too separated,CSX had those...

^With that in mind I thought that equipment (Metroliner CC/NPCU/Horizon) would be excellent to have as included rolling stock.

Metroliner Cab Car/Amfleets would make for an excellent PhIV/Pepsican Era San Diegan. Oh, and we have the route for it too!

Engine is certainly nice looking. I wonder how the cab looks though. These have desktop controls?

It'd be a nice bonus considering the Dash 8's usually have a P42 in the consist when there's more than 1 engine. I'm kinda doubting they will...but maybe they'll surprise us :D

The P42DC seen is most likely the one in the Miami route, my best bet is that the route will only have the Dash 8-32BWH, the screenshot is likely from one of the DLC's included career scenarios.

They are still used for passenger service near me on the northern half of the surfliner route (Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo), but usually only as a fill-in when the regular units are in the shop. I believe they have been used in a pinch with the Coast Starlight as well, although I highly doubt it's been for the route's entire run.

Yup.Here on the east coast there's still some that pop up every now and then on the capital limited.

I believe the 509 has been working the Coast Starlight recently. Atleast one of the older P32s is working the full route between LA and Seattle.

Why surprised?

Not exactly surprised, just saying it looks unique compared to other dash-8's.

For some reason, the image I linked doesn't want to be viewed in high res, so here's another one, taken more recently (as evidenced by the updated cab signalling):

That Dash 8 actually looks nice, except for those Superliners.

Is it possible to copy the Empire Builder Phase IVb Superliner textures over to this model? The included Superliners will also be good for the Racetrack, Pacific Surfliner, Marias Pass, and Stevens Pass routes.
