Agreed, but - the rules for us were rather strict.

I imagine our talented community will have a fix for all the logos in short while.

You should not have a missing texture card showing. It should look like this.

Yes, mine do look like that, but I am an international customer. You are in and from the US, Buzz, why are your cars unbranded?

Because if you have been following this they could not get a license from Metra. However just stay calm for a short bit.

Well, they didn't ban you from using the letters BNSF in the scenario selection and loco names. BNSF, the railroad-that-must-not-be-named. *!twisted!*

So this thread is for remarks, praise and bugs reporting?

I have already found that the couplers are springy again. Not a bug per se, but rather an unwanted feature. I wonder where this comes from, DTG supplying them?
I also noticed there are no pop-up EOTD's on the freight cars, a nice feature to have. But since you re-used existing models, they just aren't there in the Geo file.
Transitions between straight and curved SE track are rough here and there.

Problem with new routes and trains is, we have expectations and want certain -ever increasing- standards to be met.

First impression scenery wise, this is first class work!! And the bi-level gallery cars are nicely done also. These are lower than ordinary double decker cars, hence the galleries and the open center aisle? Where are the stair wells?

Verified my steam cache... works like a charm. Ran the express into the city... good fun!
Lots of freeware modifications and additions will probably be coming which will be great. :D

Just wondering if it was intentional or not though, but there's no sound for me in the passenger view.
Also if I restart a scenario, the bell in the cab car doesn't work anymore (well there's no sound rather).

Small things though, I suppose. Glad steam worked things out, and I've got a Met-...ropolitan Chicago Commuter Rail Route! !*cheers*!

Right here.

Talk about picking at nits.

Guinea pigs pick at nits, they are very clean animals. *!lol!*

I didn't know, I have never been near one. They look strange to me, used to double decker passenger trains with solid floors and an aisle on the upper level with stair wells at both ends.
Height restrictions forced Metra and its forebears to go for slightly lower cars? But I believe SP also used them on the Peninsula Lines, powered by mighty FM TrainMasters capable of quick accelleration.

The exterior and interior do look nice. As does the cab with all the scripted features.

BTW I have ridden this route many times and the tracks are not smooth so some humps and bumps would be prototypical.

Graphics are nice, but operationally, there are LOTS of bugs with the air gauges, coupler slack setting, the fact that the cab car is powered for some reason (go outside and look at the cab car when you take power; it will literally start dragging / pushing the train behind it), etc. Additional gripes on my end include recycled ES44AC physics, and lack of dynamic brakes. But so far, nothing that appears to be unfixable with a quick mod.

Right here. Talk about picking at nits.

Those two shots are correct. First is an angular handhold cutout for passengers walking to the exit doors while the train is in motion; second one shows the lowest of the steps to the upper level.
