Yes, was downloaded. None of these routes show in RW tools. Will mostly need to expand the AP files. Also, the London Favesham route has a similar route ID to London Brighton except for th last four digits.

I will try to update the SD40T-2 to use Anthony Wood's sounds which are excellent.

Well "buzz456", I have given this outfit over $2100 USD, (not including a high end computer to run it) and I do expect service. I just ran the first scenario (after waiting at the pumps 5.5 hours), and it is nice....but not "EPIC". I ran real locomotives for over 3 years, and still, the brakes are not near the way they should be...but I can compensate. I enjoy the game (sim), but I am a bit disappointed as towards the sounds... (the same since they have started). This route has a lot of promise, however, I would have hoped for more, and I am a "old man", very easy to please. It was not another "world crisis", but actually a matter of service and communications. I just retired from the US Coast Guard....how would you like to call "Mayday"...and I get to you in say...about six to eight hours? If they wish to make "good money"....they must bring a product to the table......

I am sure that the great programmers and gamers involved in this hobby here, will do great things with this route....and I will add their corrections.... At least it is not like Donner! *!lol!*

My 2 Cents....

Best Regards,

GW

Thanks to Tycoonkid9 for the link to the user's manual. I'll never understand why DTG is so inconsistent about providing such a link for potential buyers.

I'm heartened by seeing that amongst the 7 included scenarios, 2 deal with switching operations.

Haven't bought this yet, but it's good to know that delivery is taking place after purchase.

Would you expect anything else? Oh yeah we must have instant gratification for EVERYTHING. Relax. You will live longer.

Anyhow, I will get around to buying this pack (Epic Journeys) and the BR145 when the Summer Sale comes around, which is possibly May 26th.

I am impressed with the route as a whole. The canyons shown by the high draw distance are just breathtaking. I am let down by the rolling stock and locomotives a little bit as some rolling stock sport incorrect paint schemes and some of the locomotive sounds.

Just a question about Helper yard - not certain about the era, but is there a engine workshop missing from the middle of the yard, along with diesel tanks etc. Fairly easy to add something generic, but before I do would like to make sure.

The photo link below is from UP era...

But th next is very definitely DRGW :)

My recollection it is a single track run through workshop with switches at both ends

Some nice additional detail to model in the last shot below :) half way down th blog...)

Great route BTW!

Wow Buzz...

Are you just kicking me around....or everyone today?? It's not about being a "grown up"....it's about running a business. To "enlighten you", I now work on a ship, and was hoping that I could download this for my off line mode, before departing for 4 weeks. Luckily, it now works. I do not like to pay for something today...to no receive it until I get home. I was giving "observations"...not criticizing ....... maybe you should take some of your own advice......

Silly question, but, which Helper Yard are you referring to, the one on the right, looking North, or, the one on the left ?????

EDIT: I've had a look at Helper, it's a ghost town compared to Provo...... !*roll-laugh*! Anyhow, there is a small engineshed there and a fuel tank and a water tower, and that's about it, apart from a very small Station, there's nothing else really, just a lot of trackwork.
The map is set in the 1980s I think DTG said, I don't know how built up Helper was in those days, as I said, it's very rural and not many houses about.
