Awesome. One of the terms I used, albeit perfectly correct, is a bad word. Lets just say "Angle male chicken". !**duh*!!

Hi people.
I got a few things to say regarding marketplace locos. It seems than DTG is not so interested in release repaints in market place as new new models. Short time after the release of the SD45s I sent several repaints to DTG that never where released. A couple of months ago I started to work (very slowly) again on them. But now I have to make several updates.
Same thing with the GP50. I sent two or three repaints to DTG months ago and I had no news about them. I´ll talk to DTG about this subject and see if we could speed up the things.

Hi Tyler,

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I would like to respond to your very interesting post about air brakes. Would you allow me to copy it as the first post in a new thread, so that I can reply to it more conveniently?

The state-of-the-art in air brake simulation in TS2015 isn't the "Canadian Mountain Passes" but the new "Soldier Summit" SD40T-2, which is an adaptation and significant improvement on what I had previously done for the FEF-3 and (upgraded) ATN Consolidation (which until SS, were, I believe, the best implementation to date). The CMP brakes are very basic in comparison to the new Soldier Summit brakes. Anyway, it'll take a long reply (or many shorter ones) to respond, but suffice to say that a lot of what you describe, including the propagation of air pressure waves, the differential between head end and tail end pressure, rates of change in pressure, etc., are now implemented to a high degree of accuracy (and there is even fully-functional independent brake bail-off, as in the FEF-3 and Connie).

!*cheers*!

I´m working again with DTG to release the SD45´s in marketplace. My friend Alejandro made a ton of repaints and I´m getting it in the sim. Last week I sent to DTG the PRR and DRG units.

Will these repaints only work for certain SD45s? For example will one of the repaints work with the UP SD45 but not the SP one, and say another repaint only work on the SP SD45 not the UP one? Just curious if you have any insight on how it will work out.

Edit: Also I just noticed on steam that the UP SD45 is $19.99, and the SP SD45 is $7.99. It doesn't say that the SP one is on sale or anything, am I missing something here as to why the SP one is cheaper?

The SP unit was one of the DLC items DTG made part of the 'TS Classics' series. These units are offered at a lower than 'normal' price for DLC.

The Marketplace SD45's are more or less Stand Alone packs. You only need to own any of the previous SD45´s (UP or SP). It will work if you own one of the packs, no matter wich one.

Please, feel free. I'm interested to learn more!

I'm glad to hear the SD45s have been revisited. I hope to buy a few once they are released.
