*Moffat Subdivision* John I would like that route too.

The pictures look very nice so far. Looking forward to the rollingstock and locomotives.
Surely if DTG gets the license back on Scalerail then they could use it? (I have no idea how the licensing works)

Derek´s already stated (see earlier reply in this thread) that ScaleRail isn't being used.

Marleyman already repainted a pair of (fixed #) DRGW Sd45 units as part of his pack in the file library. They are a little 'shiny' but serviceable.

Gone are the days when DTG ever will release a route DLC with more than a single freight engine included. It obviously makes them more money to sell anything else as separate DLC and then make it a bundle. Get over it, they'll never go back.

The SD50 and SD60 look alike in basic dimensions and proportions.

DRGW has a bell mounted high on the long hood and the "standard" dual headlights.
One can forego the bell, but those headlights not. The low hood set contained a Gyralite?

The bell was one of the neatest features of that engine, made the bell loud on the engineer's side but not so on the fireman's side. Allowed the engineer to actually hear/see the bell when under load.

They threw in the California Zephyr because they know that half their audience only cares about passenger trains. *!mad!*

They threw in the Ca Zephyr because Rio Grand ran their own passenger trains into the 80s. They didn't want to become part of Amtrak.

Hmmm, well, I like the ground textures on first observation, so, that looks quite a good omen and if they get the cliffs and other geological features done right, this should be an excellent addition to our DLC stable. Unsure how many passenger stations there are on the route, going by Google street view, admittedly 2015, there are only 2, one at each end of the route, so, as I don't have a map for the 1980s era, I don't know how many stations, sidings, coal mines, cement works, quarries, etc, there were to keep us all occupied, anyway, something to drool over until whenever it gets released. Well done young Mr. Derek, and I assume young Mr. Bob is doing the trackwork. Keep going fellas **!!bow!!**

Cheerz. ex-railwayman. !*cheers*!

Those rock and ground textures are the most realistic I've seen to date!

The Geneva Steel plant just north of Provo in Vinyard was still active in the early 1980's. It would be nice if this was included.

Well I'd love to see the Rio Grande Zephyr, but DTG is including the F40PH set with the route.

There will be a paint job (free) of this before the route comes out for those who want to run the pre-Amtrak train.
