Having checked it out, apparently my genset sounds have been sold along with the model without my knowledge. Not a big deal, just some emails to send.

The fact that your sounds are being used is not the worst thing. In fact, it will sound awesome with your sounds BNSFdude.

EDIT: Buzz. yes I saw that post he stopped with DTG. But he does make the best North American loco sounds.

I don't want to buy from them, they're sort of greedy, I'd rather buy from the original creator, which was you Hector, They are probably going to sale the CSX and the UP as seperate locos..

If you buy from DTG, then it can be played on Steam Workshop scenarios.

Also, I know BNSFDude's passenger car sound has been already used by the Amtrak rolling stock of Miami route, and will be used with the Shoreliners that come with the FL9. So why should it matter? What's done is done.

Greedy? They are in business to make money that's all.

This is the first new engine I've really been interested in for quite some time. Why? Because it is a dedicated switcher. I'm not crazy enough to imagine that any scenarios included in the DLC package will be switching related, but I do look forward to writing some myself, especially if repainters provide additional liveries.

From the article -
CSX operates a fleet of more than 20 NRE 3GS-21Bs variants, as well as a small number of NRE’s 1,400 horsepower 2GS-14B units, and a single six-axle 3GS-21C. The upcoming Dovetail Games’ CSX 3GS-21B, liveried in the railroad’s current blue and yellow livery, will be accompanied by a trio of authentic scenario putting the GenSet diesel to work out of bustling Oak Point Yard on the TS2015 New York – New Haven route. Most certainly, scenario creators in the community will also find plenty of work for this unique CSX locomotive, whether on the New York – New Haven route, the Northeast Corridor route, or along the Miami-West Palm Beach route. – Gary Dolzall - See more at: http://www.engine-driver.com/article/sh ... oigR7.dpuf

So looks like we may indeed see some official switching scenarios accompanying this.

Nope.
1300 may have them, but 1305 doesn't.

They are strobe lights, is it that big of a deal? There are plenty CSX gensets without them, just did a google search.

I do have to say though, this is one locomotive I am really excited for. It looks well done but is also unique, I'll be interested to see all of the features included. I also hope it is easier for our re-painters to spend some time on!
