Railfans snuggle along sandy track beds,
As delusions of Deli's dance through their heads . . . !**duh*!!

from "The Florida Route Rumble", coming soon to your local recycling center.

No it wouldn't, because it wouldn't exist. !DUH!

Very well said, hertsbob, not to mention that recent routes such as the Coal District, New York-New Haven, and PSL have all been gems.

The routes have been good, its everything else that comes with it that seem to be "Meh".

That "Meh" is even giving the other things too much credit, there are other phrases I can think of but cant be said on the forum here...

The CSX Jacksonville Division from Jacksonville, FL to Baldwin, FL to Waycross, GA would be a good combination to fulfill all the things they're looking for. Set in the late 80's and early 90's would provide lots of local work around Jacksonville, heavy switching duties in Baldwin, Moncrief, Duval, and Waycross yards and mainline running in between all four. The Silver Service and the Auto Train both run up the A-Line as well providing some limited passenger duties as well.

It's one of the main reasons I decided to model the route myself but unfortunately life continues to get in the way of that and DTG certainly has the capability to make it happen.

I use to live in Hollywood Florida. I know that place very well back on those days. I say should start from Fort Lauderdale to Tampa. Why not 300 miles? They did a great job on Marias pass, nec and Donnor pass. They're holding back from making long routes? Bad decisions.
