same for me, although once it gets into notch 8 it sounds normal.

In this case, the manual provides keystrokes for headlight, beacon light, instrument light, and cab light, but there's no mention of strobe lights. Although some of the FaceBook ads for this package state that it, "features dynamic braking, cab lights and associated freight wagons", there's no mention of freight cars in the manual.

Pedantic as usual, eh Old Prof? !*lho*!

Queen's English vs. America English. "beacon light" = "strobe light" (altho in real life they are different in construction). "freight wagons" = "freight cars". Now, the heavens should be in alignment, and the New Year can roll onwards. !*brav*!

Actually in this case Beacon Light means Beacon Light. BN didn't use strobe lights.

Did some testing I cleared the cache and place a single F45 and the problem persists. I'm currently verifying for the 4th time trying to get a re download of the pack.

The sound file is fubar. Someone needs to put in a ticket and/or let Ceasar know that there is a problem. Maybe one of our resident hackers knows what to change to fix this. I have never messed with any audio files.

Honestly it doesn't look like they used your model. Your pictures look different from their offering.

As for reference materials, they can be found off the web.

I don't think you need to worry, AND if you are still upset, one up them. Finish your model and make it better than their's.

That youtube link wont make the video show up so...
Anyways the BN did use strobes. SD40-2's/SD60M's had strobes. Sometimes a GP38 would get strobe lights as well.
BN nut and didn't know that they used strobes...

Huh? Reppo? After his brilliant little GP20, this must have been a push-to-release, without a final QC, or last minute changes left out. (like the brakes on the F59PH) !*don-know!*

I just hope this sound thingy is fixed soon cause I'm really !*hp*! on this one.

If you start looking into the files you will see DTM assets being used. That's why I said it was from him. I have no idea of the collaboration between the contributors to RSC one way or the other. That is for others to concern themselves with.

actually most of the modeling reminds me of DTMS work while the texturing seems right off of one of reppos or is that just me?

I should have clarified. BN didn't use amber strobes.
anyways. Reppo made the model, textured it, etc. I sold them my audio from DTMs SD45s.
Selling the audio was as much involvement I had in development, so don't hurl the issues at me. :P
