The download's quite small. It's not a very big route.

Although this route simulates a model train layout (a delightfully improbable one at that), all of its scenarios except one Quick Drive are of the Career type -- a career in driving this route is the height of absurdity. That's not a comment on the route, which is delightful, but on RSC's dogged avoidance of Standard scenarios.

As a minor remedy, I've written a standard scenario, called "A Christmas Spell", now available on Steam Workshop. As you might expect from me, it involves shunting (yes, there is a small, 2-siding yard in the route).

I noticed there's a lot of unused floor space in the hallway near the front door. I wonder if that's deliberate, so that some enterprising fellow (or lass) could use it to put down some more track?

Shame there's not an Empty Room or something so we could make a model layout.

I assume you've done all the usual things to clear up disk space. I managed to recover several gigabytes just by deleting all my screenshots from the folder where Steam hides them (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\71285859\760\remote\24010\screenshots), besides deleting stuff I didn't need in my "downloads" folder. It's surprising how much rubbish accumulates there.

Thanks, Mike, I was wondering where that Steam junk was hiding. I use FRAPS, wish I could figure out how to turn off the Steam screen shots. !*don-know!*

In the Steam client, click on Steam (top left hand corner), then Settings, IN-GAME and where it says "Screenshot shortcut keys" (defaults to F12) change it to "none" by clicking on the X just to the right of it.

Coming, just have to have the time to model it, a model layout in a garage with a 55 Chevy Bel Air as a extra large scenery object.
