So why are they so bent on Coaster? Isn't Metrolink a better candidate?

Yeah, just heard the horns on the CEM Hyundai Rotem Cabcars...*shudder*. The MP36PH-3C's horns aren't terrible (IMHO). At least the F59PHi has the K5LA (which DTG has made for this vaporware Coaster set.)

I seem to remember reading that it took a year to get the CSX license. So these things can take abit of time. http://www.engine-driver.com/article/sh ... -licensing this tells you a bit about how DTG go about getting a license.

instead they could maybe get a faster license with BNSF BTW: BNSF owns The sounder trains and sounder service

RSC it still trying to get the license, I don't think it will be released but there is still a slim chance they will get the license.

Doesn't RSC already have licesnse for bnsf why cant they make sounders instead?

Because RSC hasn't made a route for them to run on so there is no point for them to do that.
