Should note that they are missing the dynamic brake sounds, other than that and the gyro there are no bugs I can find with this engine. I personally give it a score of 9/10

Is it using a LUA or an OUT for scripting?

Very nice now if all the RSC Locomotives had all these features

I just saw the video.
Holy cow, this is setting a new bar for quality and realism.
This is the first engine for which the back panel is functional.

Thats not entirely true. The SD45 had workable controls on the back panel. Our GP40-2 will also have a (for the most part) working back panel.

If anyone is having trouble starting the GP20, I've made a video showing exactly what needs to be done to start it up. !*salute*!

Can anyone confirm if the Gyralite / emergency lights work? Thanks!

John: you can (at least for now) read the manual at this link: http://cdn2.steampowered.com/Manuals/22 ... 1379575903
. I don't see any information regarding the features you've asked about. The manual is very thorough, but loaded with typos that have to be mentally corrected in order to fully understand some of the operations.

I don't care much for the sounds. Never heard a GP that sounded like that.

Got it, love it!
If you dont got it, get it.

Realistic starting! That to me makes all the difference. Drives good too.

Do scenario writers have the option to begin a scenario with the engine already started or must scenarios begin with the start-up procedure? I ask because no two players are going to take the same amount of time to go through a start-up procedure and that will make the already complex process of adding AI traffic even more so.

Hi, you can find 3 different versions of GP20s, Adv, Running and Std.

Adv = Engine is off at initial state, you must start it manually, if you have more than one loco in the same train you must start each one separately. For driving with the keyboard and mouse.

Running = The engine is already running at the scenario's beginning. However some minor adjustments could be needed. For driving with the keyboard and mouse.

Std = The engine is already running at the scenario's beginning. Only basic controls. For driving with the HUD F4 or Xbox controller.

Never mix different versions in the same train.

The running version is recommended for IA trains.

The other liveries will be available soon, then the version High Nose Western Pacific with its functional double control stand.

Thanks for all your kind comments. *!!wink!!*
