I see it too buzz! (me and my rivet counter skills) Look on the engineers side, there is a grab iron on the walkway used as a step to get in front of the window area. not a big deal at all but im just saying I see it too.

What I see as different is those yellow marks on the steps on the side of the nose, not in the repaint. !!det!!

They are looking fantastic there XDriver, class A as usual! They remind me of the NS GP38(I believe it was a 38 lol) I saw this time last year up near Allentown PA. I believe that one also had a AC unit well. !!*ok*!!

Hey all! I finally figured out what was wrong with my horns. It was a simple error of controller names and such, so here's to hoping RSC will push this quick update, if not. I'll post the new proxyxml's here in the File Library.

OT: I just purchased the RSC GP38-2. And now that I have it as a comparison loco, I realized that Justin Cornell's GP38-2 is lacking the spinning exhaust fan blades animation. Is there a way to add the rotating blades to the Cornell GP38-2 loco?

Is anybody satisfied with the brake application sound that RSC has given us for the new GP38-2? It sounds like a Jet Engine spooling down! What happened to the familiar and pleasing squall of the loco brakes we are used to hearing ? I sure would like to swap out this poor excuse for a braking sound with something more realistic.

Um, I recorded it right from a 26L stand man, I don't know how I can do any better.....
EDIT: My bad, I think you meant the brake squeal itself. I'll see what I can do this weekend. *!!wink!!*

You are a real comedian!!

I will appreciate anything you may come up with. Any kind of brake squeal is better that Jet Engine sound. I was unable to determine which .DAV file is being used in the RSC GP38-2 so that I might attempt to "sub" it out myself, but no joy.

Now that I have learned a few things, I think I can make working fans. Right now I am busy with the GP40's so I can't switch to it.

PapaX, thanks for considering making the fan blade animation for J.Cornell's GP38-2 - at your leisure, of course.

A lot of folks have repainted this great prime mover. And to get the blades turning would be a welcome addition to an already beautiful asset. No hurry. Just knowing that this work is in your que is satisfaction enough for me.
