More than likely they'd include the ES44AC with the route given that it's pretty much 'common' power these days, same as SH. A new P42DC would probably be worth the price tag.

I hope they get it right this time!

Nice ! I do hope Derek and Bob include deep snow/snow banks along the tracks, similar to what they did on Donner Pass. It adds that extra bit of atmosphere to running winter operations over the pass.

Did I miss something? Where did RSC announce Marias Pass would include a "new P42DC". So far all we've acutally seen is a BNSF ES44 and some shots of the old freight cars. Oh yeah, the original shots had the Dash 9.

Yeah, "reworked" or "new". I am not sure yet. !*don-know!*

I missed that announcement too! !*don-know!* I would much rather have a new SD40-2 BNSF repaint. !!*ok*!!

like it a lot but when I get it I WILL be changing all the roads to scale roads since I cant stand the outdated default roads they are using.

I don't see anything other than dirt roads in these pics. Are there pics on FB showing the Donner roads? (Which I don't like either)?

Me too. I hate the way they look. Scale rail is much nicer, imo.

Not sure if anyone noticed this but, the locos in these photos are ES44DCs. Shouldn't they include the AC's because they are more common than the DC's on Marias Pass (As far as I know). But Hopefully, I believe they will include the ES44AC, DC, Dash 9, and a SD40-2.

Perhaps that's because they are trying to get them right before people see them.

I have a feeling that it has something to do with performance. I know on my computer, scailrail does not often play well due to the high amount of detail on the track. It looks great, don't get me wrong, but routes without it seem to run better for me. !*don-know!*
