Don't forget to make a BNSF branding patch for non-US users like you did for the Racetrack.

trev123 wrote:Please be aware Clear Creek Narrow Gauge has released, however due to a temporary error on Steam the US exclusive version of this route has been made available to to users in all regions. This is an error and users who purchase this version outside of the US will be unable to run the content.

There are 2 versions of this content currently available:

1. Clear Creek Narrow Gauge Common Route Add-On (USA Customers Only) - Contains BNSF Branding and will not work for users outside of the US.

2. Clear Creek Narrow Gauge Common Route Add-On (Non USA Customers) - Contains all content included in "USA Customers only" pack minus BNSF branding and will run for all users outside of the US

Please do not purchase the "USA Customers Only" pack if you are based outside of the US.

Are there any specific differences because the route is set before BNSF came into existence?

I think the dual track system on this route might be like when I was experimenting with dual track about a year ago.

Will be interesting to see how it really is in the end though, looks really great so far and I'll be sure to try and buy it the moment it's available :D

Just for the record, this route is on sale for $31.99: a 20% discount from its eventual $39.99 price. The deal ends May 19th. !!det!!

Why can't prices like these just be rounded off to $32 and $40? !*don-know!*

!!howdy!!

I been asking that for 50 years. Everything use to be .95, now it is .99. Buy a car for $29,999, sounds better than $30,000 ??

Just a quick FYI, the regular gauge cars will only sit properly on the tracks going in one direction and our standard gauge locomotives will not sit on these dual gauge tracks. There will have to be mods made for them to work and again I think they will only work in one direction.

And why is gasoline 2.229 instead of just 2.30?

Just got the route and decided to open up the route editor to mess around, and found out that the dual gauge isn't really dual gauge. Kind of disappointing because I would have loved to see functioning dual gauge in this, Give me about a week or so and I could probably replace all the "dual" gauge track with actual functioning dual gauge tracks. *!lol!*

Elphaba and GreatNortherner posted above that the cars only sit correctly on the track one way since they are still referenced to a single rail.

Cheerz. Transport Steve.

No need Steve - all already there...

You just need to be able to open the .rwp files and do a bit of renaming.

In the Assets/JL/ClearCreek folder make a new folder called "Textures".

Open up the ClearCreekAssets .rwp file and drag the following texture TGPCDX files into the Textures folder you have just made (best do it in the following order as one has to be renamed!)

1. From the Railvehicles/Baggage/Textures folder drag the "decals" file to your new Textures folder and rename it "bagdecals".
2. From the Railvehicles/Passenger/Textures folder drag the "decal" file to your new Textures folder.
3. From the Railvehicles/Steam/B4D/Textures folder drag the "decals" file to your new Textures folder.
4. From the Railvehicles/Freight/Boxcar/Textures folder drag the "decal1" file to your new Textures folder.
5. From the Railvehicles/Freight/Reefer/Textures folder drag the "reeferdecal" file to your new Textures folder.

That's it - fire up the sim and admire the textures...

Many thanks to the original poster August1929

!*cheers*!

I am in heaven (or I will be in about 9 hours when I get home from work, throw some $ at Steam and can get my hands on this !*roll-laugh*! )

Copied from UKTS. "The Colorado and Southern Railroad was acquired by Chicago, Burlington and Quincy (CB&Q), which got swallowed up into BNSF, which now falls under their copyright and intellectual properties licence."

To coincide with today's release of the Clear Creek route, a Train-Simulator.com article featuring the Georgetown Loop section of the route is available at: http://train-simulator.com/the-far-famed-loop/
