Valid point sir, personally I need to get myself to that realization. I feel that I was constantly buying content to reignite my interest in TS2014 and it never happened, I need to let that interest reignite on it owns, without disappointing myself with content.

Picking another nit: the speedometer is off by 2 MpH. The scale starts at zero MpH, but there is only two marks till the 5 bar. The animation seems OK, so it indicates 2 MpH more than the F5 HUD which I presume is the actual game engine read out. I am running a light engine.

You can ROFLYAO, but in the prototype speedometers are calibrated. If it is of the recording type, like in a passenger locomotive, it holds legal evidence. We can assume the model runs on worn wheelthreads.

My point is like with so many of the small errors and mistakes: nobody at DTG seems to notice or doesn't care. Is the DLC as of late even beta tested at all or just bashed together and released?

The remedy would be a new dial in the speedometer. Where does its texture reside?

I agree with you....but aren't there bigger fish to fry? An accurate speedometer is of limited use when the brakes don't work right, for example. Or did they fix their "improved" brake scripting?

BTW, side note for everyone. Yesterday - DTG said (on facebook) they were working on a patch for the GP38 and Dash 8 to add flashing ditch lights, as per description on steam. Today, I see they removed most of those posts on facebook, and changed the descriptions on steam so they do not reference this feature at all.

after saving and restoring the scenario, reverser control is in opposite direction

I never noticed, but many locos suffer from this too - after restoring scenario from save point, controls are in wrong positions.

If you guys really want to try and get DTG to change there practices I'll make a petition on change.org detailing the problems many of us have with TS. Then people can pass it around to other TS forums/communities and get a couple hundred signatures. Maybe if that happens DTG will change their ways of doing things.

Search the forum you should come up with other people that wanted to make a petition years ago. They never saw the light of day. Then you say "Then people can pass it around" which means you expect other people to do something. Not going to happen.

You make the petition.
Some will read it and him and hah about how that should do it for a few days.
Nothing else will happen after that.
And we will all continue to buy...

Even though Bob was against it, I decided to anyway.

If you agree with what I wrote, sign the petition and share it on any other TS forums or communities your part of. If we want them to change how they do things this is how we do that.
