I wonder why DTG is taking so long to release the FEF-3 !!bang!! I know their slow but they haven't been that slow before.

Interesting, but the Big Boy's already been done. I'm not sure how many of the existing owners would be willing to spend money on a brand new model.

Incidentally, that live steam site has most of the diagrams for the Big Boy, on huge sheets of paper (many are 1/8th scale).

I've got nothing at all against diesels and electrics (Iwell love all trains) but they're already covered by many developers. US steam on the other hand, you can count us on the fingers of one hand (and you don't even need all five fingers). So I'll probably stick to steam for the foreseeable future.

Thanks, I really appreciate the sentiment. I do sometimes get the feeling that there are some people out there who have no idea of the time and effort that goes into making these models, so it's always great to hear from someone who clearly does understand !!*ok*!!
