Smokebox: Additional 1800s Rolling Stock Packs (for the Marketplace)

Unread postby mrennie » Wed Jan 30, 2019 9:29 am

I'm making additional rolling stock for the 19th century routes, with UPRR and CPRR lettering, suitable for using with Jupiter, UP 119 and Buffalo. This will be a marketplace pack. I'll probably include some scenarios to make good use of them on the Cheyenne 1869 and Promontory Summit routes.

Plain gondolas (flat cars with sides made from planks bolted to bolsters inserted into the side pockets).

Thanks :)

I suppose the nearest they had to a tanker car was this:

That's the water tank flat car from the UP 119/Cheyenne 1869 DLC.

Early oil was carried in similar tanks.

Found this picture.

Have better pictures somewhere in my backups but that is how they carried stuff.

I remember seeing that picture some time ago. I suppose you could use my water car for anything.

I totally love what you have done here Michael. This is truly artwork. Now I need to save up for the cars. Thanks for your efforts.
