It says it comes with scenarios for HSC. Those we who bought from VR already have those so I am not sure what we might get. We need a member who did not buy from Trains and Drivers but who bought from RSC to tell us what it is you are getting in this package.

Buzz

The new DLC assets folder is called "vR_AddOn4". It comes with two versions of the loco: "Alco RS11 PRR 8617, and Alco RS11 PRR Dyn". There are four new scenarios for HorseShoe Curve: the first three use the Alco RS11 PRR 8617 - "Altoona Switching", "Evening Switcher", and "Work on the Branch" and the last one uses the Alco RS11 PRR Dyn - "Cresson to Altoona".

The asset folder for the Trains and Drivers Alco RS11 is called "virualRailroads". It appears that these are completely different assets. There doesn't appear to be any overwrites to this 3rd-Party payware. The four new scenarios bundled with the new Alco RS11 DLC use the new RS11 locos exclusively.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated

Just to clear up one of my questions, when i mentioned swaping i mean swaping the loco using RWtools in a clone of the workshop scenario, i should have specified that, sorry

I think i shall wait for a sale and get it half price, wont be as bad on the wallet that way, again, thanks for the info

I am definitely a little disappointed that is ended up being sold through steam after buying it as 3rd party. I would have waited so I could use it with workshop scenarios. It is what it is but I wish I had waited because I am not buying it twice.

You may not get workshop scenarios, but there is a PRR RS11 repaint in the file library. RSC may or may not even know that! !*roll-laugh*!

There is a way to edit workshop scenarios with RWTools. Also convert them to regular scenarios. Whether its allowed or not, I know how to do it. *!!wink!!*

Lol the "Steam EULA" doesn't even make much sense, and for most people, its like reading the terms and conditions, which is so long, people look at it and say, AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FO DAT! !*roll-laugh*! And once again, we had one before RSC did, so just like the NS EMDs, but I'll admit, they did enhance the models, but does it look like they did with this RS11?

Hi guys, was just wondering if there are any difrences between this model and the VR one? i know they are the same model, i just mean like a diffrent configuration, bits added or removed.

Hi everyone,

the ALCO PRR comes with four different/ new scenarios, also made by Trains and Drivers *!!wink!!* . The base model is the same as the Lehigh Valley one, also done by vR, but the folder structur inside Railworks is, of course, another.
Greetings from the old world!

Has anyone else noticed that the RS11 was released by RSC several weeks ago and yet it still does not show up on the Steam TS2013 DLC page. The only way to find it on Steam is to do a search. !**duh*!!
