After a long time without updates on the project, here is the current view of the model. The external modeling and painting are almost complete.

This unit looks very well done... !!*ok*!! !*cheers*! I hope that they make the GP9's in both Dynamic & Non Dynamic, With & Without Torpedo Air Tanks. It is my sincere wish too, that they make them in many of our favorite paint schemes.. DieselWorkshop paint maps are extremely difficult to work with !*hp*! , as those of us who do painting will tell you, so when they are released many people may be waiting for awhile to get their favorite scheme. Take Care - !*salute*! Stefan

The non-dynamic unit pictured would be great for use on my DT&I route, though it would need different horn placement. And spark arrestors. I have no hope that any providers for TSC will make engines with specific details for that road. Sorry to hear they are a pain to repaint. But I am looking forward to it.

Spark arrestors can probably be added as child objects. Even adding a horn can be done that way. But moving or removing horns would be a daunting task if it's part of the base mesh. Fingers crossed that the horns are also child objects.

I'm surprised DTG never brought the one they have in TSW. That said I do hope they consider this.

I think if you want some consideration of this idea you best post it somewhere other than here. I don't think any of them ever come here any more.
