If the proportions are wrong, then that is factually objective and constructive criticism. If it isn't factual, then it's merely opinion. It's my opinion that both objective and subjective comments should be allowed to be posted on here.

Saying try it and if you don't like it, return it? That's true for the day one purchasers. But those that didn't get it day one want to hear what's wrong with it from those that did get it day one. That way they don't purchase it in the first place. It hurts DTG because they still have to pay Steam their 1/3 cut on DLC that is refunded. Then DTG are losing money. Knowing what's wrong with DLC and deciding not to purchase it based on that info avoids that whole scenario altogether.

As for contacting Cesar directly instead of posting complaints here? I say you can do both. Nothing motivates a developer more to respond than bad, very public reviews and slow sales. Simply complaining to them directly often results in little to nothing being done about it. **!!2cents!!**

Since the P40 is in fact selling very well, that really does not apply here. "Reviewers" have their opinions, most buyers prefer to form their own opinions.

There is a world of difference between saying "In my opinion the headlight is too large." and "The proportions are all wrong and this thing is the result of never improving your skills."

Do you understand the difference or do I need to explain?

When it comes to Train Simulator DLC, people that pass on it usually do so due to objective flaws and not due to subjective opinions. The length of a route is factual. Whether or not the route is worth buying due to its short length is a subjective opinion. A guy who loves a route with a lot of switching (shunting) might not care about its length if it has a lot of industries and yards to play with. Another guy might think it’s short length is a ripoff.

The Feather River DLC goes from Oroville to Quincy. It was the opinion of me and many others that it should have gone all the way up to the yard at Portola since that’s where WP did the crew changes for the route in real life. UP still does do crew changes there to this day. Although I was very disappointed about this fact, I still wanted this route bad enough that I was willing to overlook this factual flaw and purchased it anyways. For some it was a deal breaker. That’s a decision based on facts and not opinion.

To Buzz….

The difference was your 2nd example included a subtle, unnecessary personal dig at the author. Just pointing out the fact that the proportions are wrong was all they had to say and they should have left the insult out of it.

Not to try to put too fine a point on this however to merely say everything is out of proportion without being specific about what they are talking about is equally worthless.

One not usually usually doing passenger service I really enjoy this pack. I am factually ignorant about the specific specifications on most pieces of railroad equipment, maybe this allows me to play this in virtual bliss and just enjoy the ride. **!!2cents!!**

Are you referring to this?
https://trurailsimulations.wixsite.com/ ... e-p42dc-ep

If so, it's not compatible with this pack. It was made to work with the RSC P42DC Empire Builder Addon.
Just trying to clarify.

The Models created by DTM are Impressive because they are similar to Real Life And one of the Models that made me fall in love with DTM was the EMD DDA40X, what I would like to see created by DTM is the EMD F40PHM-2 from METRA with the car gallery

The problem should be having permission for the METRA Logo
