I have a question about this route that did not show up in TS-Tools. Yes I have extracted the AP file to that folder under Content also the same with Assets too. I see that there are 13 scenarios in Scenario folder and all other folders are inside the Content folder under Steam. I was planning to swap some of the locomotives and rolling stock but can't.

Hope that someone can tell me what to look for then fix the problem and at last will show up in TS-Tools.

Thank you,

John

When enough of CN's fleet of conventional SD40's were placed in service in the early 1970's, the freight F7 units were taken off of most mainline through freight trains in the west and downgraded to secondary/regional trains, or sent to operate in eastern Canada. CN rebuilt 30 F7A, and 10 F7B units between 1972 and 1974, extending their life in secondary service into the mid 80's. Several of these units were based out of Prince George in this period, and conceivably could be used on some of the trains going to/coming from Prince Rupert up the Tete Jaune Sub.

The FP9A, and F9B passenger units were used in passenger service up until VIA took over passenger operations from CN in 1978. Many of these units did not get repainted into VIA colours until the early 80s, so you could accurately simulate early VIA passenger service on this route with locomotives in CN paint.

I have had similar experience with other DLC including third party content. The solution I use is to clone the DLC via the TS20xx editor and name it for example () "name". The cloned DLC then appears at the top of the list (handy if you want to do a bit of work on it) and can be worked on in TS or RW tools. I then only run the clone. When there are additional scenarios I cut and paste them out of the original (which is where any will go) into the clone.
Hope this helps.

Very helpful. Thanks. I did a little googlin' but most the stuff i found were cold and tied down at shops, storage etc.

So i reckon an 'extra' wouldn't be completely out of the question round these parts in the 80s
The bit about the PG based rebuilds are interesting - now ive got somthing more specific to look into !*cheers*!

you also had the Almstrom SD40-3's loading coal trains at lunscar/foothill sub, and they acquired 100 SD40-2s from BC Rail cn interesting yard power of chop nose GP 7 &9'S G40-2W's still live to fight another day in the paries but with the coming of modern grain elevators and loading loops anything could happen to then

From my bit of research on railpictures.net F7 seem to common on the Canadian and freight in the 70's early 80 and the SD40'S and SD40-2W's and GP40-2W seemed rule for a good 70's-1990's then the SD50F's SD60F's came along followed by C40-MS in 1994 i think
1995 SD70I's came along
1995-2002 C44-9W split order between CN & IC
1996 SD75I and possibly rebuild some as SD70ACC's
2005 ES44DC split again i believe between CN & IC
SD70m-2'S introduced

now there seems to be very little SD40's left the GTW/Alstrom units are stilling kicking about i think. as of 2012 the AC kick began
if i were to speculate i think the SD70I/C44-9W may end up at the scrap heap, followed early SD70M-2's , C40-8M/C40-8,C40-9Ws are up for sale
leaving the SD60 & SD70's for MOW/locals and SD70M-2s for locals and some SD70Is/c44-9ws are not in storage so far , leaving ES44AC ET44ACS to rule the main line roost

mindenjohn -- first want to say thank you for your reply about clone a route in TS 2020 Editor. I have followed your instructions and went ahead to clone a route with different name. Then went over to TS-Tools to see the scenarios for the cloned route and it's not there. I don't understand why are the scenarios not showing up in Scenario Editor? I have no idea what is the problem with this. Might have to extract AP file again but first remove all the folders inside that route folder. I know I have to leave AP file. Any other solution to solve this so I can see all scenarios for this route in Scenario Editor under TS-Tools. So I will go ahead to swap the locomotives and some other rolling stocks too.

Thank you again,

John

All is good now because I upgraded to the latest version of TS-Tools and now see that route show in TS-Tools Scenario Editor. So I am going to change the locomotives and some of the rolling stock that I want.

Thank you again,

John
