If you agree with what I wrote, sign the petition and share it on any other TS forums or communities your part of. If we want them to change how they do things this is how we do that.

I am not against it, if I was, you would not be talking about it here eh? I am saying it is a waste of time. How many people are active here? 100? Maybe? So if you get everyone here that is active to actually sign it, you might get a 100 sigs. How big is the Trainsim userbase? Trying to reach out to all of the userbase is going to be one big job. Making a petition and telling people to sign it here is not going far. You have to take charge of the situation and push it out there like a holy roller. Posting here and trainsim.com and uktrainsim ain't going to get it. Then you are going to have the places that will not let you post it or talk of it. You know that as well as I do.

The other problem is everyone here is playing TS. Problems or not, we are still playing it. So it must not be that bad. Or everything else available is worse. We are also still buying DLC. And bitching when it is run cause it is not what was expected. Or something is not the way it was thought to be or some thought it should be.

It all boils down to if you are not happy with DTG's Train SImulator why are you still playing it? I do not understand how people are totally disgusted with the product yet continue to play it. You would not eat food you hated, you would not listen to music you hated, you don't bother with people you hate... and so on.

So petition away and see where it gets you. Good luck.

Please contain this thread to C40-8. Enough complaining about DTG here. We can call the new thread pee and moan.

It's probably a very good idea to split this off into a new thread, as you are completely right this is about the C40-8. But I do think attempting to trivialize the complaints is rather odd, considering a decent number of RWA members seem to be quite interested and justified in "moaning." Not so sure about the peeing though.

But, I've said all I want to say on this topic, so "my input is noted."

I'm not trivializing any of this. I think it is a major threat to the future. I bought Ian's C40-8 and am perfectly happy with it. The ditch lights even work.

That is an awesome comment, and I agree completely. I'll be doing the same here shortly - Ian's work is superb.

They mean the ditch lights don't flash as they should.

I too am happy with this loco - having been gone from TS for over a year, I'm trying to relearn some aspects of it. Am I mistaken or is this a different type of package? Is it possible to extract this package to do repaints?
