Update

Unread postby buzz456 » Tue Nov 25, 2014 11:37 am

Just what we need a 3 gig update with no change to the game just so we can have it in six languages that I don't need. !*not-ok*!

I don't even think there is a way to change the language... Let alone ever wanting to change it.

Well maybe now that the language support is done they can actually fix all the errors to the DLC's? Ok probably not *!greengrin!*

I don't want to hear about it, Buzz. Lol you could have it like this. Now thanks to this update my game is unusable for God knows how long. !*not-ok*! It's so bad, I have to make these posts from my phone.

I peaked at 3.0 earlier today. Had the download done in around 5-10 minutes. Stay strong Nathan, the download will only take 2 weeks. *!rolleyes!*

I don't understand why DTG needs to push whole routes, track and scenery tiles and all, just to have some more languages. I understand scenario descriptions, DLC descriptions, manuals and such.

Is there any clear text in track and scenery tiles that needs to be translated in the first place?

Yes....
I've once again had my external file system "snipped" at the end of the tree, thus removing my mods while leaving the rest of the tree there.
If you have something like Donner Pass with mod folders outside the .ap file, go click through the folder paths until you get where the simulation.bin should be and it will be gone.
I guess I'll have to take DLC etc and copy it into my Backup of 2014 from now on.

Why don't you have "two Clicks" set up?

Well... I have a folder tree set up, where all I have to do is copy and paste most of my mods back into the railworks folder.
It's still a pain in the butt lately.
I'm not happy about the white mountains and other graphics changes either. That's another reason I said what I did about using 2014.

I know you guys have said the white mountain issue has always been there, but I've never seen it until now.

I'm still having that issue too. I had kinda hoped it would sort itself out with the 48.9 patch...

I could post pictures. I don't seem to have that problem but I suppose that wouldn't help anything with no clue of your problems. Bob did a post about this but didn't really explain what he he did to fix this issue.
