Isn't this the PRR Congressional paint-scheme? Looks very nice! I remember seeing this same shot of the loco on DTG's page a while back, before the NEC II was even released.

Now what is there to pull for this distinguished grande dame electrique and her cousines in dark green or red?

PRR both had smooth sided all tuscan red with gold lettering streamlined cars, and fluted stainless steel cars with or without a tuscan letterboard and everything in between.

Can some of the avid repainters use the freeware ex G-Trax passenger cars and whip up a few PRR streamliners for us?
http://pennsyrr.com/index.php/modeling/205-walthers-prr-passenger-car-models gives you some idea of the variety the Standard Railroad of the World offered.
http://passcarphotos.info/Indices/PRR2.htm has lots of photos, colour and b/w. I particularly like the two tone "Fleet of Modernism" art deco livery..

Finally, something Pennsy to dream about:

One of the BIG things that has really annoyed me personally about DTG / RSC - the lack of follow through.

They went to the trouble and expense of sending an artist to the US to the PRR museum at Strasburg and in all this time since the release of HSC, the additional available official DLC amounts to nothing. It was a perfect opportunity to release further steam and early diseasel DLC packs to accompany the route, but they are too busy rushing off to something else. It has taken Mike nearly 18 months to get his 800's to the point where they have flown the nest and are off on beta testing, so it is obvious that sort of work needs to be supplemented by official studio resources. Would dearly love to see a T1 or any of the major PRR freight locos - not everybody gets excited about the latest soul-less GE box and point to point running...

**!!2cents!!**

!*cheers*!
