Not dissimilar to counting lots of fish when you think about it... Live ones, obviously; the frozen variety are far easier to keep track of! (Fish. Not angels - I don't think I've ever seen one of those frozen)

I believe that your vision is clouded by preconceived notions. The number is more likely in the hundreds if not thousands..................... !*YAAA*!

A cheap product will always get more sales than an expensive one. Consequently, the seller will get more profit selling it cheaper than selling it expensive.
For example, I would buy it if it cost 2 or 3 dollars, but I do not intend to buy it for $4.99. Users who think like me, are sales that the seller loses.
It is my humble opinion.

is 2 bucks either way really that important to you? if so I think you may be in the wrong hobby

That's the beauty of Train Simulator, you can spend as little or as much as you choose to get what you want. However you can either create things yourself for free once you have the game, be satisfied with the game as sold, get free stuff made by others or fall into buying stuff that costs money. IMHO saying that anyone wants to charge too much for anything is wrong though. I think they charge too much for milk, gasoline, and Corvettes but they whoever they are decide what value they can bring to the market place and than the public can decide if they want to buy the product. If you think that the product is too expensive go show them. Don't buy it.

I'd like to nominate this for "Post of the year": it's clever, humorous, and non-combative. Way to go, HertsBob!

I didn't know what the phrase meant until earlier on this evening, so thanks for the education. :D

Mike, its better than coughing 20 bucks for each one.

Excuse me, not trying to be a post rivet counter but what you are saying makes no sense.

mdurdan wrote:Buzz, I don't want you to think I'm yelling at any specific person, specialty not you. I just have a strong opinion on this and I think they are getting really steep with there prices in comparison to what it use to be two or three years ago. I do like Reppos locomotive's and I will pay that for his since there's so much put in to them but they really need to start pricing these based on the work put in to them and maybe releasing them in packs with scenarios as they use to. Just my opinion **!!2cents!!**

you do realize they are trying to run a company that makes profit right? to make it in the long run this is what they will have to do, going back to the old way makes no sense in a business point of view, which is what RSC/Dovetail is...a business.
