They fixed the 3rd party error, maybe its Castle Rock that is being identified as 3rd Party.

It would be Castle Rock that is causing the 3rd Party error. The route is not available as a filter in the workshop so it is currently considered 3rd Party.

I noticed the same thing about the brakes that Buzz did. I was zooming along at about 23mph at full throttle. Flicked the handle to zero and off she went!

Now I know about the passenger view as well. I only had the salon car's view.

My only gripe now is the cab view, it's too close to the windows! I can zoom out but not pan back. Can't see the gauges except for just a few. !*don-know!*

Oh, Buzz, "modded" is and has been a real word in the gaming community for quite a while. !!det!!

Probably Castle Rock then causing the 3rd Party error. Will build another on another route then. Thanks for the info fellas. And yes 'modded' has been in use for several years, especially in the modding community...(short for modified, more specifically in this case as indicating a sim has had a community/commercial modification done to it; an example would be the application of third party rails to your 'maps' changing your version of the sim from default rails to the modified rails. Repaints are a modification that would also get referred to as a 'mod', with your sim being 'modded' due to the presence of repaints) !*cheers*!

That cab view issue is a bug of some kind. I stopped and reloaded and then it was back to the traditional cab view and worked fine for the rest of the time. I created a free roam and the condition wasn't there. Did that occur to you on the second scenario, climbing up to the summit?

Budge4 over at Steam Railworks Forum sent me an Engineer's POV Fix for the "EB" GN F7. He edited the \assets\rsc\empirebuilderpack01\railvehicles\diesel\F7\default\cabview\ - file name is F7A_Cab_Camera.bin and moved the POV a little bit further from the windscreen. The only problem is that this new POV Fix leaves the cab interior light switch hidden behind the arm rest. But Keyboard "L" will throw the light switch just as well.

Ol Paint, I got that same "fix" from Budge4, just haven't had time to install it. he sent it in a .rwp package, nice of him!

Buzz, it was on the training run, I haven't had time yet to do the other runs. I'll be doing at least one this afternoon. I'll try without the fix first, see what I get.

Even if they didn't include some all new sounds, the pack is still worth its money. Turned out really great, I'm loving these American beasts. :)

Agreed, this DLC is amazing! I just finished taking her over Marias Pass and I loved it! The passenger views are incredible, but I'm a bit bummed that they didn't include interior views for the RPO, chair, coffee dorm, dining, and sleeper cars. I hope ATSF Super Chief repaints are on the way.

The Driving Tutorials are for the Newbies, don't you know... They probably don't have all the huge collection of DLC that us Ol' Geezers have. RSC is just trying to cover all the bases to give the new guys a leg up...That my story and I'm sticking to it. Hee, hee.

Let's see ... OlPaint and Old Prof ... there has to be a vaudeville routine in that somewhere.

Sure, I know they're for newbies, but the tuts that come with routes (this rhyme leads into the routine) included with whichever version of TS2013 a newbie has bought should fill that waybill. For anyone who has bought more than one DLC pack, the number of worthwhile included scenarios is thus reduced to 2, a pretty pitiful number. And don't tell me that there are more scenarios available at Steam Workshop (many of which will require yet another DLC that the downloader won't have yet): I'm jabbering about what comes with a DLC pack, not what can be found online.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh ... forget it!

Whoa there. Don't be so hasty to dismiss it! !*hp*!

The concept of a Vaudeville routine is great. Perhaps it's just that the subject matter of Tutorial Scenarios doesn't grant this particular genre the launchpad onto Broadway that it richly deserves? !*don-know!*

With a pair of travelers at each windowpane.
I may sit beside you all the journey through,
Or I may sit elsewhere, never knowing you.
But if fate should mark me to sit by your side,
Let's be pleasant travellers; it's so short a ride."

Well considering I work on the real 400, that is possible. But don't you think this is the wrong thread?
