My hope is not for new features but for an update or rewrite of the game engine. It computes very slowly and has a low throughput (hence the large resource usage) and driving any long trains seems to bring the physics engine to its knees to keep up with the calculations.

I doubt it will happen, obviously, but a man can dream.

Its a shame they haven't announce anything for 2014.

I am pretty happy with the stability of the game right now and I darn sure don't want to see the creative third party people having to go back and redo a huge amount of stuff again. If RSC makes changes I sure hope they keep that in mind.

There is nothing in the wind that I know of suggesting that anything now is imminent or even being planned at this time. This is just in the fevered minds of some of our community who think no matter where we are at we should be upgrading oh I don't know about every seven minutes.
