Have you looked in the documentation yet? That would be a good place to start. I dont have it yet as I am at work but that will be the first thing I do is look for manuals.

Ctrl+G to toggle Google on/off. The images are dynamic, so if you're flying around to detail one area to the next, I would advise to switch it off until you get to an area you're about to work on.
Cheers!

You don't. The images are copyrighted and cannot be saved to your route. They're dynamic and only available while you're in editing mode.

I'm in editing mode. But when I read the manual it said you need a API key. -Kenny

When in the world editor, use Ctrl G - a faint Google image should then appear on the surrounding tiles.

Did you alter the settings in the options section in RW?

Maybe the issue is your current terrain is too high in elevation? I noticed using the new Google Earth option in my route, a few low places on the map were not visible and I'm thinking this may be caused by the DEM's I used in the route?

Marc, Is there a way to increase the Google Earth Map Detail? I tried looking at the Creator Manual, but it hasn't been updated since 2011?

*Edit* I answered my own question, under the Graphics button is the settings for the Google Earth Map detail.

It may be similar to when using RwDecal where large decals would leave holes in them in which case I'm not sure there is a fix for it.

If you turned up your zoom level, that maybe the problem, reset it 13. Also if you put something into Google Earth API, you might want to remove that as my Google Earth API box is empty?

The API is no longer a requirement by Google.
