Well guys right now I have a monitor (vga only) that has terrible lines running through it. I've tried three different graphics cards and it happens with all of them so it's not the card. I'm looking for something around 20" with dvi port.
How dose this monitor look?
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... No=1990486Or if anyone has any other suggestions that would be great. My current card right now is a GTX 660 so I don't want to big of a res that my performance will suffer.

That monitor looks fairly decent. I haven't used and monitors from ASUS, but judging from their other products, they're normally of good quality. There are some deals around for other monitors, but most of them will have similar features in this price range. Are you locked into a specific price or size or would you like suggestions for something else?

Well I want something around 20" and my budget is around $150 or less. I know 1080p is nice in terms of picture quality, but I think it would hurt my performance in RW. I just wanted to see what other people thought about this monitor and make sure I won't regret buying it. Also other suggestions are welcomed.

I really don't think you will have to compromise performance for the higher resolution. I'm running a GTX660ti at 1920x1200 and I'm easily seeing 70+FPS on Sherman Hill, and that's with a Core i3. You might be fairly surprised.

Wow if thats the case then I might as well get 1080p. I have a i3 and a normal 660 so it shouldn't be to bad. Thanks for the input.

I'm running 1600x900 with a GTX550Ti on a 20" monitor and it seems very smooth so you should be fine.

I'm thinking you should be fine with that. Now you got me thinking about stepping up to the 650. Sigh.

I got a fantastic Asus VH238 on Black Friday, for $149 bucks. Shipped free. It's only 23" but it's fine. Colors are just beautiful! Best monitor I have ever had! LED backlight, too! Last forever! Those flurescent tubes will burn out. Get an LED!
Oh, no disrepect intended at all, that monitor is lacking at that price. Ain't got the resolution you need for this sim. Grab a flat screen! You won't regret it! Get one that has 1920x1280 default rez! You will just love it!
