Gota pet peeve? List them! :)

Registration nag screens with no option to "never remind me again." Logitech is good for this with their webcam and headphone software.

All motherboard software. (I'm looking at you Asus Suite). It is always buggy and a laggy resource hog.

Install programs that the developers crammed in marketing gimmicks. Like sneaking in pre-checked off options for installing some IE toolbar, Google Chrome or McAfee/Norton.

Creatives AutoUpdate software that somehow makes a normally simple task a very long and annoying install process.

There are issues if your browser looks like this:

I'll add a peeve with Acrobat & other software items that seemingly update daily and insist that you perform the update NOW NOW NOW

My main pet peeve is those reCAPTCHA thing. Half the time I can't even read what it says! I know they're trying to prevent Spam bots, but c'mon, I only know English and Spanish, not Klingon! !*roll-laugh*!

Stuff that installs auto-update services/regular tasks, and doesn't tell you - I'm looking at you, Adobe and Google - and worse, keeps replacing them.

Speaking on that, I HATE it when every time, anything of Adobe updates itself, either Flash or Adobe .pdf reader, it installs Google Chrome without asking me. No, I use Firefox, not Google Chrome thank you very much.

There's two good pdf readers that can replace the bloated Acrobat reader.

FoxIt
Sumatra

Good lord, that pic is scary! How many toolbars can one person need?

It's bloatware that comes along with a prebuilt PC mostly. Good reason to build your own PC. Can't remember the name of it but there is a program to get rid of bloatware. Revo Uninstaller maybe?
