Interesting read on the Dovetail TSC forums about enhancing visual perceptions with a new software.

By combining image history and motion information, fine details can be reconstructed while significantly reducing visible shimmering and flickering.
Vegetation, overhead wires, railway infrastructure and distant scenery benefit from a noticeably more stable image.

If this thing gets rid of the Moiré effect for turnouts, Otto will rise out of his grave and start playing TSC again.

I hope they see the value of the TSC platform. Even with its age, I believe TSC has more potential than most of the other software I've seen.

I improved the visuals of TSC by getting a decent monitor. My old monitor only had a 60Hz refresh rate at 1920x1080p. With the monitor I have now, I can run TSC at an 180 Hz refresh rate at 1920x1080p
