Here's a new one for me anyhow. My second screen on startup flashes with content for just a second and then goes dark. If I unplug it from the computer and then plug it back in it does the same thing shows the desktop for just a second and then goes to black. Tried restart and no joy. I thought maybe the GPU had a issue so I swapped it out as well as the monitor. No change. Any ideas anyone?

Try replacing the video cable. Double check the power cable as well.

Try this monitor on a different computer

My second screen always turn to a bright green but only for a few seconds. I think its a Microsoft issue, what else

After a lot of messing around it appears the pack rat guy (me) had saved a bad monitor which when used as a test object told me that the monitor wasn't the problem. However after chasing my tail for two days and going back for a monitor check it turned out the monitor was the problem after all. Back in business with two monitors...............Whew.
