Back with a new PC (and more spare time for RW!)

Well, yes, it's been quite a while. Nice to see y'all here still plugging away at Railworks or in my case, TSW2. And some TS2021.

So I scrimped and saved and worked 2 jobs and now I have a new PC that really finally runs TS nicely at 2K (3K?) resolutions with everything maxxed out video wise. My new build:

AMD Ryzen 7 2700K
Asus Prime X570P
32Gb G Skill DDR4
2x Crucial 1Tb M.2 SSD's
MSI RTX2060 6Gb*
Asus Xonar SE sound card
Polk Audio 5.1 surround speakers
Asus 28" 4K monitor
Win 10 Pro 64bit
Occulus Rift
Rosewill mechanical keyboard

I'm still just getting back into rail simming, a lot of stuff I forgot so I'll be back with questions I'm sure. But it's nice to see y'all! !*YAAA*! Chris.

And you know even with all this top end hardware that literally runs every other game I have (all 226 of them) maxxed out with no stutter etc, I still get draw in distance lag with TS (not so much with TSW) But I don't get stutter with this sim just that draw in lag.

Whatever. It's still my favorite train sim. They are my favorite train sims. Especially the RWA created routes.

Now if they can just compress time like American Truck sim or Euro Truck sim. Like a 12 hour run in 40 minutes. Don't ask me how they do that while keeping streets freeway exits landmarks accurate. That's prolly my biggest pushback from this sim is real time. Ah well it's still fun!

As long as there is someone to bring the occasional sandwich and a beer and say, that's nice dear.
