I've been wanting to pick up a RTX 2080 for the ray tracing in Battlefield V. My GTX 980 is still kicking a$$ with triple monitors so I'm having a hard time trying to justify it. *!mad!*

Ok, I got two days of OT and picked up a ASUS RTX 2080 Ti last week.

If all you do is play TS and TSW don't bother and save your money. I was running both maxed out on my GTX 980 and there is no improvement because i was already maxed out with great FPS.

If you are an avid gamer with top of the line stuff.... hehehe.

Battlefield V is the only one with ray tracing and it's in it's infancy but HOLY SH*T! The shadows, the reflections, everything is crisp and clear and real. Other games where I was struggling to stay at 30 FPS are well over 100 now, with triple monitors.

Please post your results. I am also contemplating a change. Not a big gamer TS is my thing.

What do you want to see? I'll take some screen shots with a monitor running tomorrow on TS. Like I said, really no improvement over my old GTX 980 with TS.

Other non train sim games that take full advantage of the technology I'm seeing a big improvement and WOW. If all you do is Train Sim and have a 10xx save your money.
