Ryzen +

Anybody else excited for the release of Ryzen + next month? Benchmarks leaked and the results look very promising. Definitely going to be another great release. With proper overclocks, at this point it seems possible that a good Ryzen + chip could bite at the heels of a Coffee Lake chip, giving Intel a run for their money.
PC Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X @4.225 GHz, AsRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 @3200 MHz, and an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW Edition

I know I am. Intel needs real competition to increase their speed and lower their prices, so yeah this is great news. Let's just hope Ryzen really delivers this time around.

It's not like AMD didn't deliver the last time around. It was their first run, and the problems laid mainly with the motherboard manufactures with getting up to speed with memory speeds and chip compatibility.

We can already see that AMD is increasing in the mobile market (ex: Dell is shipping Ryzen laptops) which will only strengthen their position.

It really does look promising with the 2700X able to hit 4.35 GHz on max turbo. Intel should rethink their game.
